Die bisher gebräuchlichen Behälter für Käse und Butter mit loser Glocke weisen den Übelstand auf, daß sie einen Platz zur sicheren Auflage des Messers nicht gewähren. Die Erfindung hilft diesem Übelstand ab. An Stelle des auf der Glocke befindlichen Knopfes oder Henkels befindet sich, wie das in den Fig. ι und 2 auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel zeigt, ein durchbrochener Knopf a, der in seiner Durchbrechung ein Messer d aufnehmen kann. Zu diesem Zwecke ist die obere Fläche der Glocke nicht gewölbt, sondern eben. Die Seiten b des äußeren Handgriffes sind oben verdickt, um die Glocke sicher halten zu können. Die Messerauflage ist in der Mitte mit einer Vertiefung c versehen, in der das zwischen Klinge und Heft des Messers liegende Blatt ruht.The previously common containers for cheese and butter with a loose bell have the drawback that they do not provide a place for a safe support of the knife.
