Die Erfindung betrifft eine Petroleumglühlichtlampe, bei der die Brennerkappe bis über den Brandscheibenrand in die Höhe geführt ist, und besteht in einem neuen Mittel, die Verbrennungsluft in solcher Weise den Petroleumdämpfen zuzuführen, daß beide sich kreuzen und hierbei auf Prallflächen auftreffen. Die Form des Ringes ist derart, daß der obere, nach innen eingezogene Teil desselben die Durchlochungen e überragt und eine Ablenkung der von unten einströmenden Luft herbeiführt. Der Ring d bildet gleichzeitig die Führung des unteren Teiles des Glühkörpers. Bei dieser Anordnung wird zweckmäßig eine hier nicht gezeichnete Fangvorrichtung angewendet, durch welche verhindert wird, daß der Docht über die Mündung der Führung herausgeschraubt wird.
