Auf der Zeichnung ist eine Trockenmaschine für Strähngarn dargestellt, bei welcher die zur Aufnahme der Garnsträhne vorgesehenen Drehgestelle in der Weise gedreht werden, dafs sich die erzeugten Luftströme einander begegnen und so an dem Mitkreisen gehindert werden. Bei der gezeichneten Ausführung sind je zwei Gestelle in einem Gehäuse angebracht; es können aber auch mehrere solcher angeordnet werden. Nach Fig. 1 sind die Gestelle so angeordnet, dafs sie bei der Drehung mit dem Umfange in einer senkrechten Ebene nahe an einander vorbeislreichen. Die Gestelle können aber auch über einander angeordnet werden. Die beiden Gestelle bewegen sich in derselben Drehrichtung und infolge dessen besitzen die einander zugekehrten Umfangsstellen entgegengesetzte Bewegungsrichtung (vergl. die in Fig. 1 angegebene Pfeilrichtung). Wie Fig. 2 zeigt, können die Gestelle aber auch so angeordnet werden, dafs sie mit den Stirnseiten gegen einander gerichtet sind. Dieselben werden dann entgegengesetzt zu einander gedreht. In der Zeichnung ist fernerhin eine Einrichtung gezeigt, durch welche die beiden Gestelle in dem Gehäuse von einander getrennt werden können, so dafs die Möglichkeit gegeben ist,, das eine oder das andere Gestell allein benutzen zu können. Zu diesem Zwecke ist ein Schieber s angeordnet. In diesem Falle kann die Anordnung auch so getroffen sein (in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt), dafs der Schieber an einer mit Oeffnungen versehenen Wand gleitet. Dann erhält auch der Schieber Oeffnungen, und je nach der Stellung des Schiebers zur Wand werden sich dessen Oeffnungen mit den in der Wand angebrachten Oeffnungen decken oder diese verschliefsen.The drawing shows a drying machine for strand yarn, in which the bogies provided for receiving the strand of yarn are rotated in such a way that the air currents generated meet each other and are thus prevented from circling. 1.
