Die Erfindung betrifft die Herstellung von gitterartigen Fadengebilden, wie sie zur Verstärkung von flächigen Verbundmaterialien, z. B. auf der Grundlage von Kunststoffen, insbesondere Polyesterharzen, notwendig sind. Die Form des Maschengitters ist dabei in weiten Grenzen wählbar (vgl. die USA.- Patentschriften 2 797 728 und 2 772 993). Insbesondere kennt man schon Fadengelege, deren Maschen in der Längsrichtung der Materialbahn rautenförmig angeordnet sind und die an ihren beiden Randkanten durch eine entsprechende Fadenverlegung eine feste Randkante aufweisen. In Verbindung mit dem soeben erwähnten Fadengelege (USA.-Patentschrift 2 772 993) ist auch schon bekanntgeworden, das in der Querrichtung sich erstreckende Gelege unmittelbar nach seiner Herstellung zwischen zwei Materialbahnen zu verlegen und dort zu befestigen. an sich bekannter Weise durch einen Umlaufvorgang bewirkte Verlegung der Querfäden schon beim Verlegungsvorgang
hinsichtlich der verlegten Gestalt zu stabilisieren. Das technische Problem der Formstabilisierung
von Querfäden ist in der Textiltechnik bei der Herstellung von nicht gewebten Zierbändern
schon bekanntgeworden (vgl. französische Patentschrift 747 341), jedoch erfordert die Herstellung
von netzartigen Fadengelegen erfindungsgemäß eine andere Lösung, die darin besteht, daß den Längsfadenscharen
zwei äußere Randfäden zugeführt werden und die Umlaufbewegung der Querfäden um die
beiden Randfäden durchgeführt wird, die parallel zur Verfahren und Maschine zur Herstellung eines
nicht gewebten gitterartigen Fadengeleges,
