Das Druckverfahren kennzeichnet sich also wesentlich dadurch, dafs die auf dem mit starkem Tuch überzogenen Druckapparate (Druckplatte b) aufgetragenen Regenbogenfarben direct auf den zu bedruckenden Gegenstand übertragen werden und dadurch eine sogen. Druckform, welche man bis jetzt anwendete, in Wegfall kommt. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet der mit starkem Tuch oder mit einem ähnlichen weichen Stoff belegte Druckapparat b die eigentliche Druckform, die nicht, wie bei dem bekannten Verfahren, mittelst Auf- oder Eintunkens auf die Farbenunterlage mit Farbe gesättigt wird, sondern welcher die Farbe mittelst einer Bürste direct in beschriebener Weise mitgetheilt wird. Dadurch, dafs der Druckapparat zunächst mit einem weichen Stoff überzogen ist und dieser Stoff der farbegebende oder druckende Gegenstand ist, werden die Farbenübergänge weicher und dem Irisiren entsprechender, und indem der Apparat zu einer Klappe ausgebildet ist, geschieht das Drucken gleichzeitig und genau von zwei Seiten, wodurch eine bessere und gleichmäfsigere Durchdringung der Farben in dem zu bedruckenden Garn oder Stoff erreicht wird.The printing process is thus essentially characterized by the fact that the rainbow colors applied to the printing apparatus (printing plate b) which is covered with a thick cloth are transferred directly to the object to be printed.
