Description
Flame spray gun, in particular for oxide-ceramic powder A nozzle for flame spray guns for spraying powdery substances is known, in which any large number of outlet holes is provided for the powdery substance carried by a transport gas, these outlet holes also being connected to an arbitrarily large number of fuel gas mixture outlet openings Flames are surrounded. With this arrangement, the powder grains should pass through the heat-intensive edge zones and thus be heated evenly (German patent specification 882027).
The invention relates to a powder flame spray gun, in particular for ceramic materials that perform the same task of intensive heat transfer based on the powder body.
According to the invention, a flame spray gun is described, in particular for oxide-ceramic powders, in which the powder is filled with oxygen through an injector cone sucked in and with a gas-oxygen mixture in a coaxially in the powder outlet arranged burner nozzle is heated, whereby to guide the oxygen-powder mixture several holes are provided in the rear gun body, which lead to a the foot block of the burner nozzle arranged distribution organ are directed.
The flame spray gun according to the invention is illustrated using the drawing explained in more detail.
F i g. 1 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch den gesamten Aufbau der Flammspritzpistole nach der Schnittlinie 1-I der F i g. 2; F i g. 2 zeigt in Vorderansicht nach der Schnittlinie 11-II der F i g. 1 die Anordnung der Kanäle für die Pulver- und Gaszuführung.F i g. 1 shows a cross section through the entire structure of the flame spray gun according to the section line 1-I of FIG. 2; F i g. 2 shows in front view according to FIG Section line 11-II of FIG. 1 shows the arrangement of the channels for the powder and gas supply.
Da der Strahlkopf 3 in axialer Richtung verstellbar ist, kann der Austrittsquerschnitt des Flammstrahles beliebig eingeengt oder erweitert werden.1 with the gun body, with 2 a screwed-on jacket (jet nozzle) and with 3 the also removable head piece (jet head of the gun). Inside these removable sleeves, which are known per se, there is the also known burner nozzle 4, which can be screwed onto a base 6 of the body 1 by means of a nut 5. The combustion media. (Oxygen and acetylene) are fed to the burner nozzle 4 in a known manner through the feed lines 8 and 9 (the last one in the handle 10) to the annular channel. As shown in FIG. 2, two gas supply lines 8 appropriately branch off from the main line 9 to the ring channels 7. At the lower end of the line 9 is the injector cone 111, into which oxygen is supplied through the valve 12 and the connection nipple 113 and gas via the valve 14 through the connection nipple 15. Oxygen is also supplied under pressure through the third connection nipple 16 in the shaft of the handle, passed on to the inner line of the injector cone 18 in a controllable manner through the valve 17 and intimately mixed here with the powder supplied through the line 19. The oxygen-powder mixture reaches the bore 23 in the gun body 1 via the line 20 and the two nipples 22 with the intermediate piece 21 made of plastic and is here via a transverse bore 24, advantageously two or more bores 25 in the axial direction of the Gun body distributed to the foot of the torch nozzle outside the same, as shown in FIG. 2 can be seen. Here there is a distributor member 26, for example in the form of an upturned distributor disk, which is arranged around the block 6 of the burner nozzle 4 and which can be screwed on. Through this distributor element 26, the oxygen-powder streams exiting here are thrown against the walls of the sleeve 4 and conveyed in an adjustable thin layer (depending on the distance between the edges of the distributor body 26 and the walls of the sleeves 2) to the mouthpiece of the gun. The hot combustion gases emerging through the burner nozzle capture the powder veil by the injector effect occurring at this point and penetrate the veil completely, as the screw-on cone 3 of the gun mouthpiece pushes the powder flow into the flame jet. As a result of the novel powder feed, the burner nozzle 4 has no central bores for the powder, but only bores (about six) arranged on a perforated ring, which differs from the conventional designs. Since the jet head 3 is adjustable in the axial direction, the exit cross-section of the flame jet can be narrowed or expanded as desired.
The innovative powder supply and mixing with oxygen a higher performance compared to the previous powder guns and also one higher flame temperature or higher heating of the powder grains reached, so that Substances such as zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide powder can be sprayed.
