Die Erfindung betrifft einen zusammenlegbaren Feldstuhl, dessen drei Beine sich in der Mitte kreuzen und an dieser Stelle in geeigneter Weise verbunden sind. Der Sitz besteht aus einem nachgiebigen Stoff, z. B. Letzterer besteht, wie aus Fig. 5 und 6 zu ersehen ist, aus zwei geflantschten Scheiben, die mit ihren Flantschen auf einander liegen und mit länglich runden Aussparungen r versehen sind, so dafs die Stuhlbeine α eine geneigte Lage einnehmen können. In die beiden Ringtheile ist eine starke Schraubenfeder s (Fig. 5) eingesetzt, welche die beiden Ringe so zu verdrehen sucht, dafs die Oeffnungen r der oberen Scheibe aufser Richtung mit den Oeffnungen r der unteren Scheibe kommen. Dieses Bestreben der Feder, die Ringtheile gegen einander zu verdrehen, veranlafst das Spreizen der Stuhlbeine a, so dafs diese die in Fig. 1 gezeigte Lage annehmen müssen, sobald der Stuhl aus dem hohlen Stocke herausgenommen ist. Die Zugstreben c dienen zur Begrenzung der Spreizung der Stuhlbeine, die indessen auch durch den Winkel, den die oberen Oeffnungen r gegen die unteren durch Verdrehen der Ringscheiben bilden, geregelt werden kann.
