. Der auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Löthkolben gewährt die Möglichkeit, dafs mit demselben ununterbrochen gearbeitet werden kann. Derselbe sowie der Stiel ist hohl gestaltet. Letzterer ist vermittelst eines Schlauches an einer Wassergas- oder Leuchtgasleitung oder dergl. angeschlossen. . Der Löthkolben ist mit Kanälen k versehen, durch welche das Gas nach aufsen dringt, so dafs es hier entzündet werden kann und das Heizen des Kolbens bewirkt. In dem Hohlraum h ist eine engere und daher · den letzteren nicht ausfüllende Hülse α angebrächt, welche zur Aufnahme des Löthmatenals dient; dieses .fliefst durch, die enge Bohrung b ab. .· Um den Abfiufs reguliren zu können, ist ,Hahnkegel k^l angebracht. In dem Griffe des Löthkolbens ist ebenfalls ein Hahn zum Absperren und Einlassen des Gases angeordnet. Die Regelung des zur Verbrennung gelangenden Gases · findet jedoch in der Regel nicht durch den in der Zuleitung angebrachten Hahn statt, weil dann bei der Verminderung des Zutritts nur die oberen Kanäle k gespeist werden würden, sondern es ist, um. den Austritt des Gases aus den Kanälen ändern zu können, in dem Hohlraum h eine besondere Hülse i angeordnet, welche mit den Kanälen k entsprechenden Oeffnungen 0 versehen ist.
