Zwischen den Spiegeln 3 und 4 befinden sich dabei optische Verzweigungseinrichtungen in der Form halbdurchlässiger Spiegel 6, welche einen Nebenkanal abzweigen, welcher über eine Umkehroptik? die Oberfläche des Briefes um 180° gedreht auf einer ebenen Mattscheibe 8 abbildet.
