Das auf beiliegender Zeichnung abgebildete Aufsatzband für Thüren beseitigt mehrere Mängel der bisher bekannten Aufsatzbänder. Diese Mängel bestehen in folgendem:The attachment tape for doors shown in the accompanying drawing eliminates several deficiencies of the previously known attachment tapes. Das eigentliche Aufsatzband besteht aus den Theilen α und b, welche schwalbenschwanzförmig in die Blätter a^l b¹ eingelassen und mit denselben verschraubt werden; die schwalbenschwanzförmige Einschiebung ist aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich. Der cylindrische Theil von b hat einen Ausschnitt, in welchem die Mutter c liegt, die entweder aufsen glatt, gerändert, mit Löchern versehen oder eckig bearbeitet sein kann, um sie direct mit der Hand oder mit einer Zange, einem Stift oder einem Schraubenschlüssel umdrehen zu können. In der Bohrung d befindet sich die Schraube e, welche einen glatten cylindrischen Theil / mit einer Längsnuth und einer Körnerspitze enthält; diese Schraube pafst genau in die zugehörige Bohrung und wird durch ein Stellschräubchen g, das in die erwähnte Nuth greift, an der Umdrehung, nicht aber an der Verschiebung in ihrer Längsrichtung, verhindert. Durch Drehen der Mutter c kann man also die Körnerspitze beliebig heben und senken. Auf der Körnerspitze ruht die Thür mittelst des anderen Theiles a, des Aufsatzbandes; der Durchmesser der entsprechenden Bohrung von a ist indefs um eine Kleinigkeit gröfser als der des Körnerzapfens, so dafs Reibung auf demselben vermieden wird, also nur die höchst geringe Reibung auf der Körnerspitze vorhanden ist.The cylindrical part of b has a cutout in which the nut c lies, which can either be smooth on the outside, edged, provided with holes, or angularly machined, in order to turn it directly by hand or with a pair of pliers, a pen, or a wrench can. Vermittelst der geschilderten Einrichtungen ist man also im Stande, eine Thür in der Zarge genau einzustellen, auch sie ohne Mühe nachzustellen, wenn durch Verwerfen oder Versacken ein Klemmen derselben stattfinden sollte. Beim Einsetzen der Thür werden die Körner zunächst ganz in b zurückgeschraubt, man hat dann, nachdem der Thürflügel einfach so in die Zarge geschoben wurde, dafs α und b annähernd conaxial liegen, nur nöthig, die Körner emporzuschrauben, wobei dieselben das vollständige Zusammenfallen der Axen von α und b selbstthätig herbeiführen. Ebenso leicht ist das Ausnehmen der Thüren, indem man entgegenges'etzt verfährt.By means of the devices described, one is thus able to set a door precisely in the frame, and to readjust it without any effort if it should become jammed by being thrown away or sunk.
