Der vorliegende stroboskopische Apparat ist gekennzeichnet durch die Art der Fortbewegung des Bildbandes und die Bremsung der Bilder. Das Bildband läuft zum Theil in einem durch zwei feste Schienen gebildeten Führungskanal und wird durch diesen mit Hülfe eines Treibriemens oder dergl. geführt. Die bekannten Apparate zur Vorführung lebender Photographien, bei denen die Bilder auf einem endlosen biegsamen Bande angebracht ■ sind, haben einen Stift oder dergl. zur Bremsung der Bilder, während das Bildband über eine scharfe Kante oder über eine Rolle läuft. Bei diesen verschiedenen Vorrichtungen ist es nicht möglich, die Bilder an der Knickstelle des Bandes einen ausreichend grofsen Winkel bilden zu lassen, so dafs das vorhergehende Bild das nächstfolgende theilweise immer noch verdeckt. Dies wird aber durch vorliegende Anordnung in vollkommener Weise vermieden, da die betreffenden beiden Bilder zu einander einen sehr grofsen Winkel bilden.The present stroboscopic apparatus is characterized by the mode of locomotion of the illustrated book and the braking of the pictures. Die Austrittsöffnung des Führungskanals befindet sich über der vorderen Treibriemenrolle derartig, dafs das letzte festgehaltene Bild des Bandes mit seinem Befestigungspunkt noch über diese Rolle hinausragt.
