Die Neuerung besteht darin, dafs die vordere Stirnfläche des Schneideisens, der Schneidbacken oder des Gewindebohrers zahnartig ausgebildet ist, so dafs die an die Endkanten sich anschliefsenden Flächen aus der ebenen Stirnfläche des Werkzeuges zurücktreten und so an Stelle der stumpfen Kanten der bisherigen Werkzeuge dieser Art richtige Schneidkanten entstehen, welche das entgegenstehende Material leicht wegnehmen.
