Description
The object of the invention is the use of a new filler and insulating material for cement mixtures. As fillers and insulating materials for such purposes, various organic and proposed inorganic fibers. It is also known, among other things, to use asbestos fiber in such mixtures to use. Made using asbestos fiber, cement and water However, after hardening, mixtures do not have a particularly high level of heat and impact sound insulation and no corresponding freedom from shrinkage. Therefore, such mixtures can ζ. Β. not used as screed will.
Nachstehende Gegenüberstellung von Werten eines normalen und eines erfindungsgemäßen Asbest-Zement-Estrichs bringt dies klar zum AusdruckIt has now been found that any mixtures produced on the basis of cement are then high Thermal and impact sound insulation, low weight, high elasticity, an excellent smooth surface and have a short drying time if you use synthetic and / or natural rubber-impregnated asbestos fibers is added as a filler and insulating material. The favorable properties mentioned come in particular when using the mixture according to the invention as an underlay for application of floor coverings for wear. The following comparison of values of a normal and a Asbestos-cement screed according to the invention clearly expresses this

The surface quality is due to the grainlessness of the mixture and the resulting Plasticity proven.

When using unimpregnated asbestos fiber, it absorbs the water, resulting in a Swelling followed by severe shrinkage when drying. When using impregnated Asbestos fiber only absorbs the water superficially, it gives it to the cement for illustration, see above that this creates cavities in place of the water held by the impregnated asbestos fiber.
