Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Maschine (1) mit einem Rotor (3) und einem Stator (2), wobei der Rotor (3) mit einer Rotorwelle (4) in Wirkverbindung steht, die mittels zumindest einer Lagerstelle (5), insbesondere eines Wälzlagers, in einem Gehäuse (7) drehbar gelagert ist. Die Aufgabe, eine elektrische Maschine mit einer effizienten Kühlung mit geringem Bauaufwand zur Verfügung zu stellen, wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch, dass die Lagerstelle (5) in einem Lagerschild (6) angeordnet ist, wobei das Lagerschild (6) mit zumindest einem Kühlmittel führenden Kühlmittelraum (15; 17; 23) versehen ist.
