Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Glasschaum enthaltendes Bauteil zur Schalldämpfung und/oder Schalldämmung, bei dem zumindest an Teilen des Bauteils ein Schutzmaterial anschließt. Bevorzugt weist das Glasschaumbauteil eine erste Seite, eine zweite Seite und eine die erste und die zweite Seite verbindende Berandung auf. Das Schutzmaterial schließt bevorzugt zumindest an Teilen der Berandung und an einem berandungsnahen Bereich der ersten und der zweiten Seite des Glasschaumbauteils an. Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem Ständerwände, Schalldämpferkulissen und gasführende Kanäle, die mit Glasschaumbauteilen zur Schalldämpfung und/oder Schalldämmung ausgestattet sind.
