Abstract

The pivotal joint has two parts which rotate relative to each other wherein a ball part (1) with spherical body (10) and bore (12) is adjoined by a support (16) which is connected to a supporting part directly or through an additional fixing (14). A dish part (2) with spherical shell corresponding to the free end of the ball part has a pin (24) mounted centrally in the shell with its dimensions corresponding to those of the bore (12) in the spherical body. The upper fixing can support a seat, table, furniture item, Christmas tree stand or cycle holder.
