DEUTSCHESGERMAN

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sturmlaterne mit einem der Aufnahme von Räuchermitteln dienenden Behälter. Bei den bisher bekannten Sturmlaternen war der Behälter für das Räuchermittel ζ. B. an dem Zylinder einer Petroleumlampe angebracht. Hierdurch ergibt sich der Nachteil, daß der Behälter für das Räuchermittel nicht wie bei der Sturmlaterne nach der Erfindung unmittelbar im Wärmestrom der offenen Flamme liegt. Erfindungsgemäß ist in der Abzugsöffnung der Laterne der Behälter für ein Rauchermittel angebracht. Der Behälter besitzt einen mit Öffnungen oder Düsen versehenen Deckel für den Durchgang der entwickelten Dämpfe (aus dem Behälter bzw. aus dem hohl gestalteten Deckel). Überraschenderweise wird bei der Sturmlaterne nach der Erfindung durch die Anordnung des Behälters für ein Räuchermittel in der Abzugsöffnung die Luftzufuhr zu der Flamme in keiner Weise behindert, so daß diese weder raucht noch erlischt. Es wird daher der besondere technische Fortschritt erzielt, daß dem Räuchermittel nicht nur die Stärkstmögliche Hitze zugeführt, sondern gleichzeitig auch die Lichtstärke der Lampe nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Durch die besondere Ausbildung des Behälters für das Räuchermittel mit Deckel und verhältnismäßig engen Öffnungen oder Düsen gemäß der Erfindung entsteht in dem Behälter ein Überdruck, welcher die Austrittsgeschwindigkeit des verdampften Räuchermittels erhöht, ohne daß hierzu eine zusätzliche Hitze erforderlich ist. Es wird nämlich gemäß der Erfindung gleichzeitig auch die Wärmekapazität des Behälters ausgenutzt. Die Laterne nach der Erfindung hat eine große praktische Bedeutung in abgelegenen Gebieten, z.
