Zusätzlich können die Strangpressprofile – insbesondere außenseitig – mit Befestigungsnuten für Nutensteine versehen sein. Diese Befestigungsnuten und die Nuten steine dienen der Batteriebefestigung innerhalb des Batterieträgers sowie der Befestigung des Batterieträgers selbst an einem Fahrzeugrahmen.
