Je nach Ausgestaltung der Schnappscheibe und des Grundkörpers kann die Vorrichtung bistabil oder monostabil ausgeführt werden. Im Falle der bistabilen Ausführung befindet sich die Schnappscheibe nach jedem Umspringen in einer sicheren Endlage.
