Abstract

Eine Schutzvorrichtung für einen Spindelantrieb, der eine Spindel (10) und eine Mutter (11) aufweist, besitzt als Sicherungselement ein elastisches Element (13). Über eine Antriebseinrichtung (12) wird der drehbare Teil des Spindelantriebs rotiert, um dadurch eine lineare Bewegung einer Baugruppe gegenüber einer anderen Baugruppe (16) zu erzielen. Das elastische Element (13) ist zwischen dem Spindelantrieb und wenigstens einer der Baugruppen angeordnet. Dadurch, dass das elastische Element (13) als Sicherungselement für das der Linearbewegung unterworfene Teil des Spindelantriebs zum Abbau von Trägheitsmomenten ausgebildet ist, wenn eine durch die vorgegebene oder vorgebbare Federkraft des elastischen Elements (13) bestimmte Nennkraft des Spindelantriebs (S) überschritten wird, und dass das elastische Element im Bereich des Spindelantriebs angeordnet ist, wird ein zuverlässiger Freiraum zum Abbau von Trägheitsmomenten gewährleistet.
