Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for presenting information including entertainment provided by a provider, particularly a Broadcasters, a television broadcaster or an internet provider, through a Medium is disseminated, the information being categorized according to content and the one addressee in a receivable via a receiving device Presentation presented categories are individually selectable by the addressee. The invention also relates to a system for carrying out the method.
In general, it is known that broadcasts on radio and television, as well as in recently also spread over the Internet. Have these broadcasts a content compiled by an editorial team that a customer views as Addressee can lead to mood. Most of the time, the addressee is only interested a few aspects of each program, while the remaining Program parts disturb him more or less. The problem of the known Information broadcasts is that the customer has no influence on the Exercise program yourself, but only another channel (provider) can search.
Systems are known which provide the addressee with a limited scope Allow design options. He can send the station over the Internet tell them what content they’d like for a particular category.
For example, he can opt for a one-hour radio broadcast, similar to a jukebox, select the title sequence yourself at least to a certain extent. It However, he is not able to use this compiled title sequence outside of listen to the time frame provided by the broadcaster. So it will be "individualized" broadcast canceled at a time specified by the broadcaster, if, for example, a news or advertising block is provided.
The object of the present invention is now to create a method the one with a simple and inexpensive realization of an addressee Convenient way to generate individual information programs offers.
This task is accomplished by a process with the characteristic features of the Claim 1 solved.
The main idea of the invention is from a transmitter (provider) to Information provided, in particular in the form of sound, text and / or image information is available, individually compiled at will and to request if necessary. This idea is implemented in that the available information from the provider (content provider) in information blocks is offered and the chronological sequence of the blocks of information sent by Addressees can be freely selected. In practice, this can be such that the addressee in a "playlist" designed as a batch file, initially a current one Want to receive the message block, then a weather report for him area should follow before current issues (the can also be selected individually) should be illuminated. Finally the addressee wants an entertaining music broadcast of thirty minutes Hear length. This is how the playlist of a program could be designed with the one The addressee begins the day after he has switched on his radio. So are The content and timing of the program can be freely configured.
The advantages of the invention are obvious: First, it is about this interactive option, the content of a program itself to be able to set up a new service because of the advantages for lets the customer market particularly well. The advantages are that the Customer is no longer dependent on the given program schemes to whom he can receive an interesting broadcast. Instead he determines the beginning of the broadcast itself and can therefore not miss anything. The customer is but not only independent of fixed frame times, it is also regardless of the program color offered. The offers special advantages Invention also for interactive training, for further training, for one Language training and for learning programs. A particular advantage is that the invention can largely be implemented with the existing technology, so that there are no unmanageable costs.
It is particularly advantageous if not just the time sequence, but how the time of the start of the program sequence from Addressees can be specified by means of a specific start instruction. That's the way it is advantageous if the start instruction when the receiving device is switched on accompanied. However, the start instruction can also be sent from the receiving device independent communication medium transmitted at the push of a button or voice become. It is advantageous to add further instructions in addition to the start instructions To provide tax instructions by means of which the customer can within the for him arranged performance moves. For example, he can use one Control instruction a repetition of the information block or a part reach of it.
Even if the invention is within the scope of any media, for example the print media ("every reader receives his individual newspaper"), so The invention offers a particularly high level of comfort when used in broadcasting or television. Despite the internet, these media still serve as essential everyday sources of information. In particular, broadcasting is not rely on the undivided attention of the addressee (listener) and can also be used in the morning, for example when brushing teeth or driving a car, be included. An individually controlled radio program that is in fits the special daily routine of a listener, offers maximum grain comfort.
The playlists and control commands can be specified in various ways happen. In any case, in addition to the medium disseminating the information a (further) medium is required with which information from the addressee to the sender can be transmitted. In the special case that the Internet is the As a medium that disseminates information, it can also function as a bidirectional medium Transfer medium information such as playlist or control commands back. In the event of of a radio or television broadcast can be used as the medium directed towards the broadcaster Internet or a telephone network can be used. Because the trend of global Cabling continues to advance, it is also conceivable that the receiving end devices, such as radios, cell phones or televisions, are simultaneously transmitting devices that use cables, light guides or air cuts send information to the sender. In that case it would just be too realize that an instruction like the start instruction by turning on of the receiving device is initiated.
It is a particularly convenient option to send the instructions via Speech input via a communication medium, for example via the (Mobile) telephone network or via the cabling of the end devices to transfer. In this case, the addressee could use the command "News" call up the current offer of the broadcaster. In a special one Embodiment can simplify speech analysis and Improvement of the transmission quality can be provided during a broadcast, for example, during the news, for a period of time Open "input window", which specifies only certain words an otherwise universal speech recognition system. So would be for example with the message "Chancellor Schröder is traveling to Japan" Words "Chancellor", "Schröder" and "Japan" active for a certain time, so that if specified, further background information on these terms appears. This procedure involves restricting all possible words to one served a few just spoken words, because of an increased Recognition rate to greatly improve speech recognition. So will the robustness, d. H. improves the speech recognition performance of the system. there the application of this method is in no way to the invention described here limited, but can generally be used in speech recognition systems become.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the figure and will described in more detail below.
The figure shows a system in which the box labeled 1 represents a contend provider, for example a radio station, which is connected to its listeners (addressees) 3 via radio or, as in the present case, via a network 2 . The addressees 3 are connected to the network via a modal interface 4 , for example via a radio.
An addressee 3 can now design his individual program in such a way that in a first step he creates a playlist 5 which contains a sequence of information blocks or a reference of such a sequence. Each block of information now corresponds to a contend (for example, the latest news). This playlist 5 is now transmitted to the context provider 1 (provider) via a communication medium (here via a telephone network 6 ) with an individualizing identifier. Using the playlist 5 , the provider creates a program assigned to the addressee and writes the information into a database 8 assigned to a computer 7 , the computer 7 being integrated into the network 2 . When the radio 4 is switched on, the computer accesses the database 7 and takes from it the content of the mail items intended for the addressee.
