State of the art

In practice, there are practically no measures applied to milking facilities to improve the welfare of animals during milking. Although facilities for dosing nuclear feed or lighting are used, these measures are applied primarily to improve the working conditions of milkers, or to rationalize the feed ration and motivate milking. However, they do not purposefully affect the welfare of the animals.

The essence of the invention

The above-mentioned disadvantage is eliminated by the milking welfare improvement device according to the invention, the essence of which is that a system of devices improving the microclimatic conditions during milking, consisting of a fan, an air humidifier and a humidifier, is safely placed above the milking stand. , infrared radiator, ultraviolet radiator and air ionizer, connected to the control and evaluation unit, which triggers them according to the information obtained from the sensor for temperature and humidity in the stable. Furthermore, a sensor for temperature and humidity in the milking parlor area, a motion sensor, a limit switch from the inlet gate and a limit switch from the outlet gate of the milking parlor.

The improvement of animal welfare during milking is solved by means of an automatic device according to the invention, which creates an optimal microclimate in the milking parlor (box), including the favorable effect of ultraviolet and infrared radiation. This device is located above the milking parlor and works as follows. If the animal enters the milking box and the gate closes behind it, the information from the motion sensor and the limit switches of the entrance and exit gate is electrically registered in the control and evaluation unit and according to the data from the temperature and humidity sensors in the stable and in the box the solar lamp, infrared lamp, fan or humidifier. The switch-on time of individual devices is controlled by the control and evaluation unit according to the optimal values for the given season. In winter, mainly ultraviolet and infrared radiators are running, and in summer, a fan and humidifier, depending on the circumstances. Other devices that improve the well-being and health of the animals can be connected to the device, such as an air ionizer, etc. The stimulating effect for the animal to start milking is that the animal instinctively searches for places where it feels better. If better microclimatic conditions are created in the milking parlor, which cause more favorable feelings in the animals, this place will become a popular place for the animal. With automatic milking machines, this results in higher attendance and thus higher efficiency and improved animal health. The device does not depend on the type of AMM and is very easy to operate. For protective reasons, a safety switch is located in the milking parlor area, which can be used to deactivate this device when the operator or service technician moves in this area.
