Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a una secuencia de ADN, elemento de regulacion en 5` que permite la expresion de un gen heterologo en una cÉlula vegetal de una planta monocotiledonea, caracterizada porque contiene en el sentido de la transcripcion, una primera secuencia de ADN, fragmento funcional de la secuencia del promotor H3C4 del maíz, y una segunda secuencia de ADN, fragmento funcional de la secuencia del primer intron de la actina del arroz. La invencion se refiere igualmente a un gen quimÉrico que contiene dicha secuencia de ADN y a las plantas transformadas con dicho gen.
