Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones para el tratamiento de plantas que comprenden sales de alginato de metal y además contienen al menos un compuesto de amina (algunas veces también se denomina en la presente como el primer compuesto de amina ), y en forma adicional incluyen al menos una composición tampón de pH que comprende un segundo compuesto de amina (algunas veces también se denomina en la presente como el segundo compuesto de amina ), dichas composiciones son útiles en el tratamiento de plantas, en particular cultivos alimenticios. En ciertas realizaciones, las composiciones para el tratamiento de plantas son altamente efectivas incluso donde el contenido de cobre metálico presente es de 500 ppm o incluso menos en la composición para el tratamiento de plantas que se utiliza para tratar plantas o cultivos. Se ha hallado que las composiciones para el tratamiento de plantas son altamente efectivas incluso en la ausencia de herbicidas, fungicidas y pesticidas.
