Abstract

Una formulación tópica para controlar una infestación por ectoparásitos en un animal doméstico, dicha formulación comprende de 10 a 60 por ciento en peso de espinosina A, o un derivado o sal de la misma fisiológicamente aceptable, y un portador fisiólogicamente aceptable, en donde dicha formulación tópica es administrada a un animal doméstico en necesidad de tratamiento en una cantidad de desde 1 hasta 100 mg de esponosina A por kg de peso corporal del animal una vez durante 7 días hasta dos semanas.
