Abstract

Se revelan núcleos absorbentes para incluir en artículosabsorbentes tales como pañales, calzoncillos de incontinencia, calzoncillos de entrenamiento, soportes y forros de pañales, prendas de higiene femenina, y similares, diseñados para proveer ajuste y comodidad mejorados para el usuario mientras que contienen adecuadamente los exudados corporales. Los núcleos absorbentes están diseñados para ser relativamente estrechos en la región de entrepierna del artículo, aún cuando el núcleo absorbe cantidades significativas de fluido durante el uso. Para lograr ésto, el núcleo absorbente está diseñado de modo que el fluido se desplaza substancialmente desde la región de entrepierna a las regiones anterior y posterior del artículo. La invención se refiere particularmente a un artículo absorbente que comprende un núcleo absorbente en donde el núcleo absorbente tiene una anchura de entrepierna cuando está en estado seco y cuando está en estado húmedo no superior a 7 cm aproximadamente, y en donde la región de entrepierna del núcleo absorbente tiene una capacidad no superior a 40% aproximadamente de la capacidad absorbente total del núcleo absorbente.
