Waterproof data line
Technical Field
The utility model relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular to a waterproof data line.
Background
Referring to fig. 1, the existing data line includes:
A cable assembly 1;
a metal terminal 2;
An insulating base 3, wherein a cable cavity 301 into which the cable assembly 1 is inserted, a terminal cavity 302 for accommodating the metal terminal 2, and a communication channel 303 for communicating the cable cavity 301 and the terminal cavity 302 are arranged inside the insulating base 3;
And the filling block 5 is positioned in the cable cavity 301.
Specifically, during production, the cable assembly 1 needs to enter the terminal cavity 302 through the communication channel 303 and be electrically connected with the metal terminal 2, then waterproof glue is injected into the cable cavity 301, and after the waterproof glue is cured, the filling block 5 can be formed, so that subsequent water vapor is prevented from entering the terminal cavity 302 through the cable cavity 301.
To facilitate the passage of the cable assembly 1, the size of the communication channel 303 is generally slightly larger than the cable assembly 1, i.e. a clearance space is left between the inner wall of the communication channel 303 and the outer surface of the cable assembly 1. When the waterproof glue is injected into the cable cavity 301, part of the waterproof glue (the glue overflow portion 501) easily flows into the terminal cavity 302 through the clearance space, and the subsequent normal electrical connection of the metal terminal 2 is affected.
Therefore, an improvement is needed to the existing data line to solve the problem that the waterproof glue easily flows into the terminal cavity through the clearance space, resulting in failure of subsequent electrical connection.
The above information disclosed in this background section is only included to enhance understanding of the background of the disclosure and therefore may contain information that does not form the prior art that is presently known to those of ordinary skill in the art.

The rubber blocking plug extends into the communication channel and is used for blocking a clearance space between the inner wall of the communication channel and the cable assembly;
And the filling block is positioned in the cable cavity.
Optionally, the thickness dimension of one end of the plug inserted into the clearance space is gradually reduced towards the direction approaching to the metal terminal.
Optionally, the size of the communication channel gradually decreases toward the terminal cavity.
Optionally, an embedded part protruding towards the filling block and embedded into the filling block is arranged at one end of the rubber plug away from the metal terminal.
Optionally, the cable assembly includes a plurality of cable bodies;
Each cable body is correspondingly provided with one communication channel.
Optionally, the plug includes a plurality of plugs corresponding to each of the communication channels, a main body portion connected to each of the plugs, and an embedded portion fixedly arranged on one side of the main body portion away from each of the plugs.
Optionally, each of the plug, the main body portion, and the insert portion is an integrally formed structure.
Optionally, the rubber stopper is a silica gel block or a rubber block.
The waterproof data cable has the beneficial effects that when the waterproof data cable is produced, the cable assembly firstly enters the terminal cavity through the communication channel and is electrically connected with the metal terminal, then the plug rubber is inserted into the clearance space through the cable cavity so as to plug the clearance space, and finally, waterproof glue is injected into the cable cavity, and the filling block can be formed after the waterproof glue is solidified.
In the process, before the glue is injected, the gap space is blocked by the blocking plug, and after the glue is injected, the waterproof glue cannot enter the terminal cavity through the gap space. Therefore, the waterproof data wire provided by the utility model can effectively solve the problem that the waterproof glue of the existing data wire easily flows into the terminal cavity through the clearance space, so that the subsequent electrical connection is invalid.

When an element is referred to as being "disposed on" another element, it can be directly on the other element or intervening elements may also be present.
Furthermore, the terms "long," "short," "inner," "outer," and the like, as used herein, refer to an orientation or positional relationship based on that shown in the drawings, for convenience of description of the present utility model, and are not intended to indicate or imply that the apparatus or elements referred to must have this particular orientation, operate in a particular orientation configuration, and thus should not be construed as limiting the utility model.
The present utility model will be described in detail below with reference to specific embodiments shown in the drawings. These embodiments are not intended to limit the utility model and structural, methodological, or functional modifications of these embodiments that may be made by one of ordinary skill in the art are included within the scope of the utility model.
The utility model provides a waterproof data line which is suitable for application scenes such as data transmission or power supply, and can effectively solve the problem that waterproof glue of the existing data line easily flows into a terminal cavity through a clearance space to cause subsequent electrical connection failure.
Referring to fig. 2, the waterproof data line provided in this embodiment includes a cable assembly 1, a metal terminal 2, an insulating base 3, a rubber stopper 4, and a filler block 5.
The insulation base 3 is internally provided with a cable cavity 301 for inserting the cable assembly 1, a terminal cavity 302 for accommodating the metal terminal 2 and a communication channel 303 for communicating the cable cavity 301 and the terminal cavity 302, the rubber plug 4 stretches into the communication channel 303 and is used for plugging a gap space between the inner wall of the communication channel 303 and the cable assembly 1, and the filling block 5 is positioned in the cable cavity 301.
When the waterproof data cable provided by the embodiment is produced, the cable assembly 1 firstly enters the terminal cavity 302 through the communication channel 303 and is electrically connected with the metal terminal 2, then the plug 4 is inserted into the clearance space through the cable cavity 301 so as to plug the clearance space, and finally, waterproof glue is injected into the cable cavity 301, and the filling block 5 can be formed after the waterproof glue is solidified.
In the above process, before the glue is injected, the gap space is blocked by the blocking plug 4, and after the glue is injected, the waterproof glue cannot enter the terminal cavity 302 through the gap space. Therefore, the waterproof data line provided by the utility model can effectively solve the problem that the waterproof glue of the existing data line easily flows into the terminal cavity 302 through the clearance space, so that the subsequent electrical connection is invalid.
In this embodiment, the cable assembly 1 includes a plurality of cable bodies, and each cable body is correspondingly provided with one communication channel 303.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the rubber stopper 4 includes a plurality of plugs 401 disposed in one-to-one correspondence with the communication channels 303, a main body portion 402 connected to each plug 401, and an embedded portion 403 fixedly disposed on a side of the main body portion 402 away from each plug 401.
The insertion portion 403 protrudes toward the filler 5 and is inserted into the filler 5. It can be appreciated that the embedded portion 403 may be embedded in the filler 5, so as to increase the contact area with the filler 5, and further improve the connection reliability with the filler 5.
Alternatively, the thickness dimension of the end of the plug 401 inserted into the clearance space is gradually reduced toward the metal terminal 2. Accordingly, the size of the communication passage 303 gradually decreases toward the terminal cavity 302. Such a construction involves facilitating the easy insertion of the plug 4 into the interstitial space through the cable cavity 301.
Optionally, each of the plug 401, the main body 402, and the insert 403 are integrally formed, so as to improve production efficiency. Further, the rubber stopper 4 is made of soft materials such as silica gel blocks or rubber blocks, and the soft rubber stopper 4 is convenient for filling the clearance space better.
In summary, the waterproof data line provided by the embodiment has the advantages that the gap space is blocked by the plug 4 before the glue injection, and the waterproof glue does not enter the terminal cavity 302 through the gap space after the glue injection. Therefore, the waterproof data line provided by the utility model can effectively solve the problem that the waterproof glue of the existing data line easily flows into the terminal cavity 302 through the clearance space, so that the subsequent electrical connection is invalid.
