Abstract
The utility model relates to a solenoid valve block comprising one or several solenoid valves, pressure sensors, fluid connectors, electrical connectors and/or printed circuit boards and a plastic valve housing.
Description
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a structure of a solenoid valve block.
Background
The basic design of the solenoid valve block (also called air damper valve block) comprises a plastic valve block housing, also called plastic valve housing or valve body. The different components of the solenoid valve block are arranged in or on the solenoid valve block and/or the plastic valve housing. The solenoid valve block may be used in, for example, an air damping system for a motor vehicle.
Disclosure of utility model
One object of the utility model is to reduce weight, cost and manufacturing effort compared to known solenoid valve blocks.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments and developments are set out in the dependent claims.
According to the utility model, the solenoid valve block comprises a plastic valve housing of hard plastic, as well as one or several solenoid valves, pressure sensors, fluid connectors, electrical connectors and/or printed circuit boards (components). The plastic valve housing of the solenoid valve block has one or several flow channels which connect the different components pneumatically and/or hydraulically. Furthermore, the plastic valve housing preferably has an interior space or installation space in which the at least one solenoid valve, the at least one printed circuit board and preferably the pressure sensor are arranged and preferably cast with a casting compound. The plastic valve housing is preferably integrally formed or formed in one piece.
In the solenoid valve block or the plastic valve housing, the pressure sensor is preferably mechanically held or fixed in a predetermined mounting position by means of one or several snap hooks, fixing lugs and/or elastic holding arms, which form part of the plastic valve housing, in particular in the mounting holes of the plastic valve housing. Thereby reducing weight, cost and manufacturing effort.
Preferably, the solenoid valve comprises a drive unit, a coil sliding thereon and preferably a bracket, which forms an external magnetic connection and thus part of a magnetic circuit. The drive unit comprises a valve portion with a seat valve and an actuating portion surrounded by an electromagnetic coil and comprising a magnetic armature which is movable by suitably energizing the coil in the flow conduit of the actuating portion. The solenoid valve, in particular its drive unit, also comprises a valve sleeve or a guide sleeve with an annular flange.
In a plastic valve housing, the respective drive unit of the respective solenoid valve is inserted and mechanically connected to an annular flange, for example of a deflector sleeve, by means of (hot/hot) staking/fixing. In this fastening, the material of the plastic valve housing is placed plastically on the edge of the guide sleeve or on its annular flange, respectively, by means of a hot tool. This method is particularly advantageous because it does not require additional connecting elements and the strength obtainable by installing the drive unit in the plastic valve housing is sufficient, especially for applications of air damping systems for motor vehicles, where typical operating pressures may be up to about 20 bar (bar).
After the plastic valve housing is produced, the flow channels, which preferably form auxiliary openings in the plastic valve housing, are usually not closed or opened on the sides. In a preferred embodiment, the flow channel is closed by means of a press-in ball and/or by means of a sealing plug with an O-ring. When there is a particularly high demand for a sealing state, a sealing plug with an O-ring is used.
The coil is preferably prefabricated, i.e. wound and provided with contacts. The coil slides on a driving unit of a solenoid valve attached in a plastic valve housing and is electrically connected to a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is connected to an electrical connector or a center plug. Likewise, at least one pressure sensor is electrically connected to the printed circuit board and thus to the electrical connector.
Preferably, the solenoid valves each have a drive unit with a sliding coil, which is connected to a printed circuit board. The pressure sensor is connected to the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is connected to the electrical connector.
In the final method step of producing the solenoid valve block, the installation space of the plastic valve housing is preferably cast with a casting compound, in particular with a two-component polyurethane casting compound, in which the solenoid valve, the pressure sensor and/or the printed circuit board are arranged. The solenoid valve block thus comprises a casting compound which preferably completely encloses the solenoid valve, the pressure sensor and/or the printed circuit board. The casting compound is used to protect the solenoid valve and pressure sensor from the environment, to fix the coil and to support the heat discharge from the coil windings.
In a preferred embodiment, the fluid connectors are each formed as a plug-in connector for external connection. Furthermore, the insert connector is preferably screwed into the plastic valve housing or screwed into the plastic valve housing. Accordingly, the insert connector is preferably formed as a screwable insert, preferably made of plastic or metal.

Fig. 14 shows a cross-sectional view of a variant of the fifth embodiment example of the solenoid valve block.
Detailed Description
In fig. 1-6, different external views show a first embodiment example of a solenoid valve block 1, said solenoid valve block 1 having six (6) fluid connectors 2, one (1) electrical connector 5 and several mutually intersecting flow channels 6. The flow channel 6 forms part of a plastic valve housing. The electrical connector 5 may likewise be formed integrally with the plastic valve housing 7 or form an additional part connected to the plastic valve housing 7, for example locked in a snap-on hook. The solenoid valve block 1 also has five (5) solenoid valves 3, pressure sensors 4 and a printed circuit board 8, which are arranged in the interior of the solenoid valve block 1 or in the interior space or installation space of the plastic valve housing 7.
In fig. 5, a casting compound 9 is shown with which the interior space or installation space of the plastic valve housing 7 is cast, so that the different components of the solenoid valve block 1, such as the solenoid valve 3, the pressure sensor 4 and the printed circuit board 8, are completely embedded in the casting compound 9.
In fig. 7-10, different external views show a second embodiment example of a solenoid valve block 1 with eight (8) fluid connectors 2. Otherwise, the second embodiment is configured as the first embodiment.
Fig. 11 shows a cross-sectional view of an example of the third embodiment of the solenoid valve block 1. Here, the solenoid valve 3, the pressure sensor 4 and the printed circuit board 8, as well as two (2) fluid connectors 2 and flow channels 6, are shown arranged in the interior or installation space of the plastic valve housing 7. The solenoid valve 3 and the pressure sensor 4 are electrically connected to a printed circuit board 8. In the third embodiment example, the pressure sensor 4 is mechanically fixed to the plastic valve housing 7 by one, two or several snap hooks 10. The snap hooks 10 here each have a fixing lug at the end of the elastic holding arm, which is formed integrally with the plastic valve housing 7, i.e. forms part of the plastic valve housing 7.
Fig. 12 shows a cross-sectional view of a fourth embodiment example of the solenoid valve block 1. The solenoid valve 3 is constituted by a drive unit 31, a coil or solenoid 32 sliding thereon, and a bracket 33.
The drive unit 31 comprises a valve portion with a seat valve and an actuating portion, which is surrounded by the coil 32 and comprises a magnetic armature 311, which magnetic armature 311 can be moved in the flow conduit 312 towards the magnetic core 313 by suitably energizing the coil 32. The solenoid valve 3, in particular its drive unit, further comprises a valve sleeve or guide sleeve 314 having an annular flange 315.
In the plastic valve housing 7, the respective drive unit 31 of the respective solenoid valve 3 is inserted and mechanically connected to the annular flange 315 of the deflector sleeve 314 by means of (hot/hot) staking/fixing. In this fastening, the material 71 of the plastic valve housing 7 is correspondingly placed plastically on the edge of the flow sleeve 314 or on its annular flange 315 by means of a hot tool, whereby the flange 315 is undercut by the material 71.
The flow conduit 312 has on the (axial) side of the valve part a flange end 316 which is molded with a plastic nozzle body 317 forming part of the seat valve and in particular comprising the valve seat of the seat valve.
Fig. 13 shows a cross-sectional view of an example of a fifth embodiment of the solenoid valve block 1 or the plastic valve housing 7. Here, after the production of the plastic valve housing 7, the flow channels 6, which are usually open on the sides, are closed and sealed by means of balls or sealing balls 11 (in particular steel or plastic balls), which are pressed into the respective flow channels 6 of the plastic valve housing 7.
Fig. 14 shows a cross-sectional view of a variant of the fifth embodiment example of the solenoid valve block 1. Here, the flow channel 6 is closed with a sealing plug 12 with an O-ring instead of with a sealing ball 11. This variant has a particularly good sealing.
In the example of embodiment shown in fig. 11 and 12, the coil 32 of the solenoid valve 3 and the pressure sensor 4 are electrically connected to the printed circuit board 8. The printed circuit board 8 is further electrically connected to the electrical conductor and/or the central plug 5.
In the example of embodiment shown, the fluid connectors 2 are each formed as plug-in connectors for external pneumatic or hydraulic connections. Furthermore, the plug-in connector is screwed into the plastic valve housing 7 or connected in the plastic valve housing 7. Accordingly, the insert connector is formed as an insert that can be screwed in.
The different embodiment examples and variants can be combined with each other as desired.
