6. A hair trimmer according to claim 5 wherein said stationary blade has a thickness of between 2mm and 4 mm.
7. A hair trimmer according to claim 5 wherein said hood top is flat topped.
8. A hair trimmer according to claim 1 wherein said movable blade has a peripheral edge provided with a bend, said bend being tangential to said stationary blade.
9. A hair trimmer according to claim 8 wherein said outer edge of said bending portion has a first cutting edge and said blade retaining portion has a second cutting edge located at an inner periphery of said blade retaining cap, said bending portion being at an angle of between 170 ° and 180 ° with respect to a side wall surface of said hair-entry slot at which said second cutting edge is located when said first cutting edge abuts said second cutting edge.
