Background
The aragonima is a chronic inflammatory granuloma of meibomian glands, also called chalazion, formed on the basis of obstruction of meibomian gland discharge ducts and retention of secretion. The aragonima is a common disease in ophthalmology, and can be caused by the fact that round masses with different sizes can be touched under the skin of an eyelid, the masses are as small as rice grains, mung beans and as large as soybeans and cherries, the skin on the surface of the eyelid is raised, and the eyes are pressed to cause temporary astigmatism or foreign body sensation, so that children and adults can suffer from the aragonima. The disease progresses slowly and can occur repeatedly, and if secondary infection occurs, the disease can develop into hordeolum, namely acute suppurative inflammation of meibomian glands. The disease is mostly caused by single eye or single attack of upper eyelid and lower eyelid. The early-stage small shot edema can be dissipated and absorbed through eye hot compress therapy.
The eye hot compress therapy is an important eye auxiliary treatment means, has unique effects, can promote local blood circulation, enhance metabolism, promote absorption and excretion of local metabolic wastes, stimulate nerve ending receptors of eye skin, destroy original pathological reflex connection, achieve the aim of regulating immunity, and can obviously enhance the treatment effect and improve the symptoms of patients when being used in combination with other treatments.
Common eye hot compress therapy in the market, for example, steam eye moistening appearance can carry out the constant temperature heating to the eyelid, and the device heats the eyelid constant temperature to 42 ℃ through infrared heat source, but the device is with high costs and all uses simultaneously for the eyes, and the patient is when using the device, and the both eyes are restricted and can not carry out other activities, and upper and lower eyelid can not the independent treatment moreover.
