Detailed Description
The locking mechanism, and the container body and the multi-purpose container of the present disclosure will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. Advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description and claims. It is noted that the drawings are in greatly simplified form and employ non-precise ratios for the purposes of facilitating and distinctly facilitating the description of the embodiments of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1A and 1B, a locking mechanism 1 is provided according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, including a button assembly 11, a drive member 12, and a jaw assembly 13. The jaw assembly 13 includes a pair of jaws disposed in opposition, the jaws being movable between a gripping position and an open position. Wherein in the clamping position the jaws are closer to each other and in the open position the jaws are further from each other. Each of the jaws comprises a first jaw part 131 and a second jaw part 132 arranged at an angle (e.g. right angle) to each other, the ends of the first jaw part 131 being movably connected to each other and forming a joint part 136, the jaws being rotatable about a first axis of rotation 133; wherein, one end of the transmission member 12 is movably connected with the button assembly 11, and the other end abuts against the joint part 136, the button assembly 11 drives the joint part 136 to move through the transmission member 12, so that the clamping jaws move between the clamping position and the opening position.
Alternatively, the transmission member 12 may be integral with the button assembly 11 or be part of the button assembly 11.
In some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the transmission member 12 comprises a first transmission portion 121 and a second transmission portion 122 arranged at an angle (e.g. right angle) to each other, the transmission member 12 being rotatable about a second rotation axis 123 arranged in the transmission member 12. It should be understood that the transmission member 12 may have any other suitable structure that can convert the depressing action of the button 117 of the button assembly 11 into the movement of the joint portion 136 toward the interior of the jaw assembly 13.
According to the above-mentioned locking mechanism 1, when the button 117 of the button assembly 11 is pressed by a user, the button assembly 11 drives the end of the first transmission part 121 of the transmission member 12 to move downward, so that the transmission member 12 rotates around the second rotation axis 123, and at the same time, the second transmission part 122 applies a pushing force to the joint part 136 contacted with the second transmission part when rotating, and the joint part 136 moves towards the inside of the clamping jaw assembly 13 under the action of the pushing force, so that the clamping jaws rotate around the first rotation axis 133, so that the second clamping jaw parts 132 of the two oppositely arranged clamping jaws move away from each other, that is, the clamping jaws are in an open position, thereby realizing the unlocking and/or locking functions of the locking member 1.
In some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the first and second rotation shafts 133 and 123 are pins or shafts or the like fixedly connected to a housing (not shown) of the locking mechanism. It is to be understood, however, that other similar or equivalent devices or structures are also contemplated and are intended to be included within the scope of the present disclosure.
Referring to fig. 3, in some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the articulation between the ends of the first jaw portion 131 of the jaw is achieved by a pin or shaft 137 that extends through a through hole in the end of the first jaw portion 131, respectively. It should be understood, however, that other similar or equivalent devices or structures that enable articulation between the ends of the first jaw portion 131 of the jaws are also contemplated and are intended to be included within the scope of the present disclosure.
Referring to fig. 2, in some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the button assembly 11 may be an integral key, or may further include a stroke amplification mechanism including a first rack gear 111 and a second rack gear 112 disposed opposite to each other. The first rack 111 is fixedly connected with the button 117 of the button assembly 11, and the second rack 112 is slidably connected with the button 117. The first rack 111 is meshed with the first gear 113, the second rack 112 is meshed with the second gear 114, the first gear 113 is meshed with the third gear 115, the radius of the third gear 115 is smaller than that of the second gear 114, the third gear 115 is coaxially and fixedly connected with the second gear 114, and the second rack 112 is movably connected with the end part of the first transmission part 121. Alternatively, the first gear 113, the second and third gears 114, 115 are fixedly mounted to a housing (not shown) and rotatable about their axes. Therefore, when the user presses the button 117 of the button assembly 11, the first rack 111 drives the first gear 113 to rotate, and due to the engagement between the first gear 113 and the third gear 115 and the coaxial fixation between the second gear 114 and the third gear 115, the second gear 114 drives the second rack 112 to move downward. And since the diameter of the second gear 114 is greater than the diameter of the third gear 115, the stroke of the second rack 112 is greater than the stroke of the first rack 111, so that the user can actuate the rotational movement of the transmission member 12 more easily and thus the locking and/or unlocking function of the locking mechanism 1 is achieved more easily.
Specifically, in some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the first transmission part 121 is provided therein with a guide groove 124, the end of the second rack 112 is provided with a first protrusion 116, and the first protrusion 116 is received in the guide groove 124 and can slide along the guide groove 124 to accommodate the horizontal displacement component of the transmission member 12 during rotation.
Alternatively, the transmission member 12 may be composed of two sheets arranged opposite and substantially parallel. The two sheets are fixedly connected to each other and spaced apart a distance, thereby forming a cavity therebetween. Accordingly, the second rack 112 end may be provided with two first projections 116, which are received in guide grooves 124 in the two sheets, respectively. Thus, the stress of the locking mechanism 1 can be more uniform, and the service life of the locking mechanism is prolonged.
Referring to fig. 3, in some embodiments according to the present disclosure, the rotational shaft 133 of at least one of the jaws is provided with a torsion spring 134. One end of the torsion spring 134 abuts against the housing and the other end abuts against the second jaw portion 132. The spring force of the torsion spring 134 causes the second jaw portions 132 to converge towards each other, i.e. to hold the jaws in a clamped position.
Referring to fig. 4A and 4B, a container body 2 is disclosed according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, which includes a locking mechanism 1 of any of the above. The button 117 of the button assembly 11 of the locking mechanism 1 is located at the top of the container body 2 for easy operation by the user. Alternatively, the support mechanism 23 includes a pair of mounting seats 231, and the mounting seats 231 are fixedly mounted on the inclined surface 22 at the bottom of the container body 2. Both ends of the support body of the support mechanism 23 are rotatably mounted in the mounting seats 231. The stopper is provided on the mounting seat 231 such that when the support body of the support structure 23 is rotated to the first deployed position, the stopper abuts against the support body of the support structure 23 and restricts further rotation thereof. The support mechanism 23 may also include a snap 232 to retain the support body of the support structure 23 in the first retracted position. For example, the snap-in members 232 are made of elastic members, and the inner surface is matched with the shape of the support body of the support mechanism 23 so that the support body can be snapped in the snap-in members 232. Preferably, the supporting mechanism 23 includes a torsion spring 233, and both ends of the torsion spring 233 abut against the mounting base 231 and the supporting body, respectively, so that the supporting body automatically rotates to the first unfolded position under the elastic force of the torsion spring 233 when, for example, a user disengages the supporting body from the snap 232.
