Drawings
The disclosure of the present invention will be more apparent with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is to be understood that these drawings are solely for purposes of illustration and are not intended as a definition of the limits of the invention. In the figure:
fig. 1 schematically shows a muffler according to an embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 2 schematically illustrates a cross-sectional view of the muffler of FIG. 1;
FIG. 3 schematically illustrates a cross-sectional view of the muffler of FIG. 1 in an angled position.
Detailed Description
The following describes in detail embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings. In the drawings, the same reference numerals indicate the same or corresponding features.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a silencer according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the muffler 10 includes a pipe body 11 and a sleeve 12, and both ends of the pipe body 11 are an inlet and an outlet, respectively. In this example, the tubular body and the sleeve are both circular tubes; in alternative embodiments, the tube may take on other shapes. As can be seen, the sleeve 12 is fitted over the outer surface of the tubular body 11. The pipe body and/or the sleeve can be made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, so that rustiness is avoided, and weight reduction and emission reduction are facilitated.
The muffler 10 may be installed in an air conditioning system, such as an automotive air conditioning system. In one embodiment, the muffler may be mounted on a low pressure line connected to a compressor of an air conditioning system. When the air conditioner is installed in an automobile air conditioning system, the pneumatic noise generated when the air conditioning system operates can be reduced, the noise outside the automobile is effectively reduced and transmitted into the automobile, and the air conditioner is suitable for meeting higher and higher comfort requirements.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a cross-sectional view of the silencer of fig. 1. FIG. 3 schematically illustrates a cross-sectional view of the muffler of FIG. 1 in an angled position. The internal structure of the muffler 10, i.e., the internal structure of the pipe body 11 and the sleeve 12 included in the muffler 10, can be seen more clearly in fig. 2 and 3.
As shown, the sleeve 12 is disposed on the outer surface of the tube body 11, and the sleeve 12 and the tube body 11 are partitioned into a plurality of chambers 13 therebetween. The wall of the tube 11 has openings 14, and each of the chambers 13 opens into the interior of the tube 11 through at least one of the openings 14. Such a chamber 13 constitutes a resonance chamber, enabling an advantageous sound-damping operation.
For example, the tube 11 has an inlet and an outlet at its two ends, and the air flow can enter the inner cavity through the inlet and flow out through the outlet. The chambers 13 of the sleeve 12 are arranged on the outer surface of the tubular body 11, forming a plurality of resonant chambers which are closed to the tubular body and act as noise reducing means.
The opening at each resonant cavity forms an airflow channel to allow air to enter and flow out, the resonant cavity is communicated with the inner cavity of the tube body 11 through the airflow channel, so that airflow in the inner cavity can enter the resonant cavity through the airflow channel to circulate and then flow out through the airflow channel, and meanwhile, for the flowing airflow, wave crests can be reduced to reduce airflow pulsation and pneumatic noise.
In this embodiment, the plurality of chambers 13 may have the same size and be independent of each other, which is advantageous for uniform opening and stable noise absorption. In other embodiments, the plurality of chambers 13 may be sized differently or each may not be completely independent.
In the illustrated embodiment, the chamber 13 and the openings 14 are uniformly arranged in the axial direction of the pipe body, and can absorb the pulsation vibration noise caused by the suction of the compressor. In other embodiments, the chamber 13 and the opening 14 may not be uniformly distributed along the axial direction of the tube.
In the illustrated embodiment, each adjacent two of the openings 14 in the chamber 13 are respectively staggered, so that the noise of the suction pulsation is fluctuated, like a sine wave, and the absorption effect is better. In other embodiments, two corresponding openings 14 in the chamber 13 may be aligned with each other.
In the illustrated embodiment, the apertures 14 are square in shape. In other embodiments, the opening hole can be in a regular polygon with other sides, for example, the opening hole can have 3 to 8 sides, the noise absorption effect is good, and the processing technology is easy to realize. The sides of the openings may be 0.5 mm to 10 mm. The size of each opening 14 may be the same for ease of manufacturing, increased manufacturing cost and efficiency, and the same size of each opening may also contribute to a stable noise absorption effect.
The utility model discloses still relate to an air conditioning system, this air conditioning system can include as in any preceding embodiment the muffler. The muffler may be mounted on a low pressure line connected to a compressor of an air conditioning system. According to the utility model discloses a muffler reasonable in design, simple structure of aforementioned embodiment can reduce for example by the aerodynamic noise that vehicle air conditioning system produced because of the low pressure refrigerant, and then has alleviated the influence of air noise to the interior noise of car, has had obvious improvement to whole car NVH performance.
The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above description, and those skilled in the art can make various modifications and alterations to the above embodiments without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention, and all such modifications and alterations should fall within the scope of the present invention.
