Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 to 9, the present invention provides an electronic control unit 100, which includes a first housing 3, a second housing 1, a circuit board 2, a first connector 4, a second connector 5, and a waterproof and breathable structure 6. Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of the first connector 4 connected to the external connector 8. An accommodating space 7 for accommodating the circuit board 2 is provided between the first housing 3 and the second housing 1.
The first housing 3 is provided with a first opening 31 and a second opening 32. The first opening 31 is used for connecting the first connector 4 and the second opening 32 is used for connecting the second connector 5. The opening directions of the first opening 31 and the second opening 32 are the same. Since the first connector 4 and the second connector 5 are provided with the wire terminals, the wire terminals can be connected with the circuit board 2 through the first opening 31 and the second opening 32.
The first contact 4 has a connection space 41 communicating with the housing space 7, the base 63 is provided on the first contact 4, and the through hole 633 is connected to the connection space 41. In the present embodiment, the base 63 is provided on the first connector 4, but is not limited thereto. The base 63 may be provided on the first housing 3, the second housing 1, or the second connector 5.
In the present embodiment, the base 63 is a part of the first connector 4. The housing of the first connector 4 is a plastic part, and the base 63 is formed by injection molding when the first connector 4 is molded.
The waterproof and breathable mechanism 6 comprises a base 63, a waterproof and breathable film 62 and a protective cover 61. The base 63 is provided with a through hole 633 connected to the housing space 7 and a positioning boss 631 surrounding the through hole 633. The protective cover 61 includes an end 611 and a sidewall 612 extending from the end 611 toward the base 63. The through hole 633 is shielded by the waterproof breathable film 62, and the side wall 612 is matched with the positioning boss 631. The protective cover 61 and the base 63 are fixed together by means of assembly. The positioning boss 631 is matched with the side wall 612 to position the protection cover 61. The protective cover 61 can protect the waterproof breathable film 62, so as to prevent an external object from directly colliding with the waterproof breathable film 62 to damage the waterproof breathable film 62, and the end 611 and the side wall 612 of the protective cover 61 can also reduce the possibility that external water enters the protective cover 61. Even if water enters the inside of the protective cover 61, the waterproof breathable film 62 can further reduce the possibility of water entering the inside of the housing space 7. When the temperature of the environment where the electronic control unit 100 is used changes, the pressure generated by the temperature change in the accommodating space 7 is released through the waterproof breathable film 62, so as to prevent the electronic control unit from being damaged by the pressure change.
The retaining seat 632 is located outside the positioning boss 631, and the sidewall 612 and the positioning boss 631 are cylindrical, but are not limited to be cylindrical, and may be in other shapes.
The positioning boss 631 is provided with at least one groove 6312, and the groove 6312 is open on three sides. Preferably, there are 4 grooves. The positioning boss 631 is divided into a plurality of land portions 6311 by the groove 6312. The number of the through holes 633 is 4, but other numbers may be provided. Through setting up a plurality of through-holes 633, when sheltering from through-hole 633 with waterproof ventilated membrane 62, can play the supporting role to through-hole 633 by the connecting portion between the through-hole 633, reduce waterproof ventilated membrane 62 because of the possibility of atress damage. The groove 6312 is provided with a bottom surface 63121, the base 63 is provided with a mounting surface 6331 for mounting the waterproof breathable film 62, and the bottom surface 63121 and the mounting surface 633 are located on the same plane. The waterproof breathable membrane 62 may be secured to the mounting surface 6331 by crimping.
In use, the mounting surface 6331 is located on a surface that is disposed obliquely to the horizontal plane, and preferably, the mounting surface 6331 is located on a vertical plane. With this arrangement, when water exists in the protective cover 61, i.e., in the upper space of the waterproof protective film 62, the water can be drained through the groove 6312.
The sidewall 612 is provided with a notch 6123 and an elastic retaining member 6121 located in the notch 6123. The base 63 is provided with a retaining seat 632 with a retaining hole 6321 for cooperating with the elastic retaining member 6121. Preferably, the catching seat 632 is disposed outside the positioning boss 631. In other embodiments, the retaining seat 632 may be integrated with the positioning boss 631, that is, the retaining hole 6321 is disposed on the positioning boss 631. Through the clamping fit, the protective cover 61 can be easily installed on the base 63, and the protective cover 61 can be conveniently taken down from the base 63.
At least two elastic clamping pieces 6121 are uniformly distributed, and the clamping seats 632 are arranged corresponding to the elastic clamping pieces 6121 one by one. Preferably, there are two elastic catches 6121. When the elastic retaining member 6121 needs to be disassembled, the protective cover 61 can be easily removed by pressing the elastic retaining member 6121 inward with a hand or other tool.
The side wall 612 is located outside the positioning boss 631, and the inner surface of the side wall 612 is in clearance fit with the outer surface of the positioning boss 631. By the clearance fit, air in the housing space 7 can be discharged from the clearance. The notch 6123 is offset from the groove 6312, which increases the difficulty of water entering the inner space of the protective cover 61.
When water is present in the interior of the protective cover 61, i.e., in the space on the upper surface of the waterproof breathable film 62, the mounting surface 633 is located on a surface inclined from the horizontal plane, so that the water flows into the gap between the inner surface of the side wall 612 and the outer surface of the positioning boss 631 through the groove under the action of gravity, and then the water in the gap flows out from the notch 6123. Meanwhile, when water rushes to the electronic control unit 100, since the notches 6123 and the grooves 6312 are staggered, the difficulty of who water enters the protective cover 61 can be increased.
In the present embodiment, the electronic control unit 100 is used for a nitrogen oxygen sensor. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic control unit 100 may also be used in other scenarios, such as a control unit for an engine, a control unit for a transmission, etc.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the above-described exemplary embodiments of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention cover the modifications and variations of this invention provided they come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
