The indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the rear casing includes a middle frame whose front end is in butt joint with the front panel and a rear cover that is in butt joint with a rear end of the middle frame, a middle partition plate that separates the front panel from the rear cover is provided in the middle frame, the cavity is formed between the middle partition plate and the front panel, an air intake cavity is formed between the middle partition plate and the rear cover, the two air ducts are provided in the air intake cavity, an upper lower edge of the rear end of the middle frame is in sealed butt joint with an upper edge and a lower edge of the rear cover, left and right side edges of the rear end of the middle frame are both provided with first notches, left and right side edges of the rear cover are provided with second notches, and the first notches are correspondingly surrounded with the second notches to form the air outlet.

The indoor unit of an air conditioner as claimed in claim 2, wherein the rear surface of the middle partition plate is provided with two first half-volutes arranged at intervals in the left-right direction, the rear cover comprises a cover plate, the front surface of the cover plate is provided with two second half-volutes arranged at intervals in the left-right direction, the first half-volutes are spliced with the corresponding second half-volutes to form the air duct together with the middle partition plate and the cover plate, the middle partition plate is further provided with two ventilation holes, and each ventilation hole is correspondingly communicated with one corresponding air duct.

An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the driving mechanism includes a gear provided in the rear casing, a motor for driving the gear to rotate, and a rack engaged with the gear, and one end of the rack is hinged to the front panel to rotate the front panel when the motor drives the gear to rotate.

The indoor unit of an air conditioner as claimed in claim 4, wherein the driving mechanism further comprises a casing fixedly connected to the rear casing, the gear is accommodated in the casing, an opening is opened at a front side of the casing, the rack extends into the casing from the opening and is engaged with the gear, the motor is installed at an outer side of the casing, and an output shaft of the motor extends into the casing and is connected to the gear.
6. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 5, wherein the casing is provided with a guide groove extending in a front-rear direction, and the rack is protrudingly provided with a guide post extending toward and passing through the guide groove.

The indoor unit of claim 1, wherein a fastening structure is provided on a rear surface of the front panel, the indoor unit further comprises a connector, the connector comprises a fixing plate fixedly connected to the fastening structure and a pin connected to the fixing plate and extending in a left-right direction, the rear casing is provided with a mounting plate extending in a forward direction, the mounting plate is provided with a first insertion hole, and the front panel is pivotally connected to the rear casing by the pin engaging with the first insertion hole.

The indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 7, wherein the engaging structure includes two engaging members spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, and a first engaging member and a second engaging member spaced apart from each other in a left-right direction, the first engaging member defines a second insertion hole, and the fixing plate is positioned between the two engaging members and the first engaging member and the second engaging member, and the bolt is inserted through the second insertion hole.
9. The indoor unit of an air conditioner as claimed in claim 8, wherein a baffle plate extending backward is protruded from a side of the first fastening plate away from the second fastening plate, and the baffle plate is spaced from the first fastening plate to limit the mounting plate engaging with the latch in a left-right direction.
10. An air conditioner characterized by comprising the indoor unit of an air conditioner according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
