The existing quenching devices generally consist of:
1) a coke quenching tower with the upper part directly communicated with the atmosphere and the lower part opened and paved with a track for the coke quenching car to go in and out;
2) a water spraying device;
3) quenching car;
4) a circulating water tank;
5) water pump and control mechanism etc..
The working process is as follows: after red coke is pushed into the coke quenching car from the furnace, the red coke is pushed by the locomotive along the rail to enter the lower part of the coke quenching tower, and the water spraying device instantly sprays a large amount of water to the red coke so as to rapidly extinguish the coke. However, when the water contacts red coke with a temperature as high as more than one thousand degrees, the water is instantaneously vaporized by heat absorption, and a large amount of hot rising steam gas mass is generated. The large amount of steam produced by the method is not recycled, and the steam is emptied, so that waste of water resources and environmental pollution are caused. According to statistics, about 0.5 ton of water is generally consumed by enterprises for producing one ton of coke at present, all coke quenching water is emptied through a coke quenching tower in a steam form, and although the coke quenching water left after spraying is returned to a circulating water tank through a drainage ditch and can be reused, the moisture contained in the emptied steam cannot be recovered.

In a specific embodiment of the present invention, five layers of cooling water spray assemblies 11 are provided, and each layer of cooling water spray assemblies 11 is connected to the circulating water tank 7 through a water pump 8; the cross section of the cooling absorption section 5 of the coke quenching tower is rectangular, the shape of the cooling water spray assembly 11 is matched with the rectangular cross section, the width is equal, and the length is slightly smaller, so that three surfaces of the cooling water spray assembly 11 can be arranged on the inner wall of the coke quenching tower, and a notch is formed at the unfixed end to form a channel for steam circulation; moreover, the cooling water spray assemblies are arranged in a staggered mode, as shown in figure 1, in the cooling water spray assembly with the five-layer structure, the free ends of three layers are opposite to the left tower wall, and the free ends of the other two layers arranged between the three layers are opposite to the right tower wall, so that a tortuous channel for steam to flow is formed, and conditions are provided for sufficient heat exchange between the steam and the cooling water.
As shown in fig. 1, in this embodiment, the steam recycling device further includes a backwater guiding assembly, which includes a backwater guiding plate 6, the backwater guiding plate is funnel-shaped, and has a rectangular cross section, one side of the backwater guiding plate is fixedly connected to the tower wall, and the other side of the backwater guiding plate is fixedly connected to the cooling water spraying assembly, and is used for guiding the quench water (including the cooling water) to the circulating water tank 7, so as to prevent the excessive quench water from spraying into the coke to affect the quality.
In this embodiment, the backwater guide assembly includes a guide water receiving plate 60 disposed below each cooling water spray assembly and above the coke quenching car, and the bottommost cooling water spray assembly 11 disposed adjacent to the guide water receiving plate 60 and the guide water receiving plate together form a shielding area of the coke quenching car, so as to prevent excessive water from spraying into coke to affect quality. As shown in FIG. 1, the deflector is similar in shape to the cooling water spray assemblies but is slightly longer so as to catch the cooling water sprayed from the lowermost cooling water spray assembly disposed immediately above the deflector, and the lowermost cooling water spray assembly does not have spray headers at the locations corresponding to the gaps between the deflector and the tower wall, so that the deflector 60 and the lowermost cooling water spray assembly form a shield area for the quench car to prevent excessive water from spraying into the coke and affecting the quality. Of course, the length of the diversion water receiving plate 60 can be properly lengthened according to the area of the quenching car, so that the diversion water receiving plate alone forms a shielding area for the quenching car and prevents cooling water from being sprayed to coke. The free end of the diversion water receiving plate 60 can form a water retaining part 601 so that the received spray cooling water is diverted to a preset direction.
The free end of the cooling water spray assembly is provided with a water retaining part 110 to ensure that the cooling water on the upper part of the cooling water spray assembly can be collected towards the direction of the tower wall and guided to a preset area outside the coke quenching car 1 by the water return guide part 6.
The following detailed description of the working principle of the embodiments of the present invention is made with reference to the accompanying drawings:
as shown in figure 1, after red coke is pushed into a quenching car 1 from a furnace, the quenching car is pushed into the lower part of a vapor recovery device of a quenching tower by a locomotive along a track, and a front sealing door 2 and a rear sealing door 2 are closed to form a space with the bottom opened relative to the sealed upper part, namely a water spraying quenching section 3; the water sprayer 4 instantly sprays a large amount of coke quenching water to the hot coke so as to rapidly extinguish the coke, and simultaneously generates a large amount of hot ascending steam air mass to enter a cooling absorption section 5 of the device, and the redundant coke quenching water flows back to a circulating water tank 7; the hot steam flow which is zigzag and ascends passes through the multilayer cooling water spraying component 11, the temperature is gradually reduced, the steam is condensed into fine water drops, the fine water drops move downwards and are enriched under the action of gravity, large water drops are gradually formed and dissolved into the cooling water, and finally the large water drops are converged to the return water guide plate 6 and return to the circulating water tank 7 through the drain pipe 9 for repeated utilization. Meanwhile, the coke powder in the water gas is separated out due to the gravity action, the coke powder is mixed into the water and carried out, and the residual hot air is discharged through the exhaust flue 10.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, it is not intended to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed, and equivalent component substitutions by those skilled in the art may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention, e.g., 1) making different shapes of the space for the generation, cooling, recovery, and discharge of quench steam using different materials. 2) The spraying devices with different shapes and different spatial positions form a steam flow zigzag cooling flow passage, or equivalent changes and modifications made according to the protection scope of the present invention should still belong to the scope covered by the present patent.

Claims (10)

1. 4. The quench tower vapor recovery apparatus of claim 3 wherein the cooling water spray assemblies are provided in multiple layers and staggered to form a serpentine path for cooling to absorb heat from the vapor.

The quench tower vapor recovery apparatus of claim 4, wherein the cooling water spray assembly has a shape corresponding to a partial cross-sectional shape of the cooling absorption section of the quench tower, the cooling water spray assembly being fittingly mounted to a partial inner wall of the cooling absorption section of the quench tower, the remainder forming the vapor channel.

The coke quenching tower vapor recovery device of claim 5, wherein the vapor recovery device comprises a return water guide assembly for guiding cooling water sprayed from the cooling water spray assembly, the return water guide assembly comprises a guide plate and a guide water receiving component, the guide plate is in a shape of a funnel, the cross section of the guide plate is rectangular, one side of the guide plate is fixedly connected with the tower wall, and the other side of the guide plate is fixedly connected with the cooling water spray assembly; the water guiding and receiving component is correspondingly arranged below the cooling water spraying component on the upper layer and above the coke quenching car, the cooling water spraying component close to the lowest layer and the water guiding and receiving component jointly form a coke quenching car shielding area, and the water guiding and receiving component is provided with a water retaining part.

The quench tower vapor recovery device of claim 4, wherein the cooling absorption device comprises a return water diversion assembly that diverts cooling water from the cooling water spray assembly, the cooling water containing vapor condensate, to an area outside of a quench car of the water spray quench section, the cooling water returning to the circulating water sump.
8. The quench tower vapor recovery apparatus of claim 7, wherein the return water diversion assembly comprises a diversion plate having a funnel shape with a rectangular cross-section and fixedly attached to the tower wall on one side and to the cooling water spray assembly on the other side.

The quench tower vapor recovery device of claim 8, wherein the water return diversion assembly comprises a diversion water receiving component disposed below the cooling absorber and above the quench car, and a bottommost cooling water spray assembly disposed proximate the diversion water receiving component forms a quench car shadow therewith.
10. The quench tower vapor recovery device of claim 9, wherein the diversion water intake component is provided with a water dam.
