Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于提供多流的广播接收设备和一种用于提供多流的方法。更具体地,本发明涉及一种用于提供解扰经由带外信道接收到的音频和视频(AV)流的多流,并为所述AV流提供经由带内信道接受到的AV流的广播接收设备及其方法。
背景技术
通常,为了使用户使用来自广播站的交费服务,需要作为广播接收设备工作的接收模块,比如,机顶盒和诸如有线卡(cable card)的有条件访问系统(CAS,conditional access system)。将有线广播和卫星广播作为交费服务提供。在有线广播中,通过有线网络的互联网服务正随着广播的数字化变得普遍起来。
图1是用于描述普通有线广播发送/接收系统的视图。
参考图1,广播站10通过广播网20向广播接收设备30提供广播节目和补充数据。广播站10产生与广播节目相对应的AV流和与广播节目的补充信息相对应的补充数据。广播站10扰频、调制和发送补充数据。
广播网20经由带内信道向广播接收设备30发送已调制的AV流,并经由带外信道向广播接收设备30发送已调制的补充数据。广播接收设备30接收并解调AV流和补充数据,并且向有线卡40发送数据。
又被称为配置点(‘point of deployment,POD)’的有线卡40是作为条件接收系统工作的接收模块,使用户使用广播站10提供的交费服务。有线卡解扰AV流和补充数据,并向广播接收设备30发送已解扰的数据。广播接收设备30对已解扰的数据进行信号处理,并向用户提供数据。
如上所述,用户能够使用广播站10提供的交费服务。如果用户向广播接收设备30输入命令来向广播站10请求某些信息,广播接收设备30经由带外信道的广播网20向广播站10发送用户的请求。
最近,广播节目已变得更加多样化,图像质量也有所改善,以致经由带内信道的传送遇到物理限制。因此,确定多信道是有困难的。此外,服务的限制可能发生,并且用户可能无法接收多种高清晰度的服务。此外,随着带内信道增加,可能出现经济损失,并且不得不添加与增加的信道相对应的调谐器。
发明内容
本发明的典型实施例的一方面针对至少上述问题和/或缺点,并提供至少下文描述的优点。因此,本发明的典型实施例的一方面是为了使用户使用来自广播站的多种高清晰度的服务而提供广播接收设备,来提供与经由带外信道接收到的AV流和经由带内信道接收到的AV流相组合的多流,并根据不同的广播节目处理添加的AV流。
为了实现本发明的典型实施例的上述方面,提供了包括多个用于通过某一网络的带内信道接收多个AV流的调谐器的广播接收设备。连接到网络的调制解调器接收包括AV流数据报(datagram)。AV流分离器从通过调制解调器接收到的数据报分离并输出AV流。多路复用器(MUX)通过组合经由多个调谐器接收到的多个AV流和从数据报分离来的AV流,来产生多流。
在典型实施方式中,调制解调器可以经由网络的带外信道接收数据报。此外,在典型实施方式中,调制解调器接收以有线数据业务接口技术规范(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification,DOCSIS)形式传送的数据报。
在另一典型实施方式中,数据报可以是因特网协议(IP)数据报。此外,在另一典型实施方式中,AV流分离器可以通过删除数据报的报头来分离AV流。
MUX通过向经由多个调谐器接收到的多个AV流和从数据报中分离出的AV流分别添加前置报头来产生多流。
根据本发明的典型实施例的另一方面,一种用于提供带有分别接收多个AV流的多个调谐器的广播接收设备的多流的方法可以包括接收来自广播站的包括AV流的数据报。从数据报中分离AV流。通过组合多个AV流和从数据报中分离出的AV流来产生多流。
在典型实施方式中,可以经由网络的带外信道接收数据报。此外,在典型实施方式中,以Data Over Cable Service InterfaceSpecification(DOCSIS)形式传送数据报。此外,数据报可以是因特网协议(IP)数据报。

参考图2,广播接收设备300包括:第一到第n个调谐器3 10-1、310-2、…310-n,有线调制解调器320,AV流分离器330,多路复用器(MUX),控制单元350,多路信号分离器(DEMUX)360,信号处理器370和输出单元380。
第一到第n个调谐器310-1、310-2、…310-n接收和解调来自广播站100的已调制的AV流。经由广播网200的带内信道传送已调制的AV流。对于数字有线广播,使用正交幅度调制(QAM)方法调制和解调AV流。
有线调制解调器320接收和解调来自广播站100的包括AV流的已调制的IP数据报。经由广播网200的带外信道传送已调制的IP数据报。在数字有线广播的情况下,使用DOCSIS法调制和解调IP数据报。
DOCSIS是来自多媒体有线网络系统(MCNS)伙伴,即一个有线电视运营商的组织的建议的有线调制解调器的标准,并使用64/256QAM的上行链路和QPSK/16QAM的下行链路的调制系统。

即,在同一广播站100中产生通过第一到第n个调谐器310-1、310-2、…310-n接收到的多个AV流和从IP数据报分离出的AV流,以相同的方式将其扰频并传送。所以,有线卡400以相同的方式解扰包括在多流中的所有流。
DEMUX360分析已解扰的多流的前置报头并分离每个AV流。信号处理器370信号处理分离出的AV流,并且输出单元380以音频和视频输出信号处理过的AV流,或向外部设备(未示出)传送AV流。
控制单元350控制AV分离器330从IP数据报中分离AV流,并控制广播接收设备300的整体操作(未示出)。

参考图3,广播接收设备300通过有线调制解调器320接收IP数据报(S500)。
接收到的IP数据报包括AV流。在广播站100中产生IP数据报,将其扰频,用DOCSIS方法调制并通过广播网200的带外信道传送。如果接收到IP数据报,有线调制解调器320用DOCSIS方法解调IP数据报并将其传送给AV流分离器330(S510)。
AV流分离器330删除包括在IP数据报中的报头,并向MUX340传送无报头的AV流。即,AV流分离器330删除MAC报头、IP报头和UDP报头,以从IP数据报中分离AV流,并向MUX340传送AV流(S520)。

有线卡400解扰多流并向DEMUX360传送多流(S540)。
DEMUX360将已解扰的多流分成多个AV流。即,DEMUX360分析多流的前置报头,并将前置报头分成未组合的AV流(S550)。
最后,信号处理器370信号处理AV流,并且输出单元380输出信号(S360)。
通过上述操作,可以提供组合了经由带外信道的AV流和经由带内信道的AV流的多流。
如上所述,通过提供组合了经由带外信道的AV流和经由带内信道的AV流的多流,可以确定现有频带之内的附加信道,而不用添加调谐器,并且可以提供多种高清晰度的服务。

Claims (13)
1.一种广播接收设备,包括:
多个调谐器,用于经由网络的带内信道接收多个音频和视频(AV)流;
连接到网络的调制解调器,用于接收包括AV流的数据报;
AV流分离器,用于从经由调制解调器接收到的数据报分离并输出AV流;
多路复用器(MUX),用于通过组合经由多个调谐器接收到的多个AV流和从数据报分离出来的AV流,来产生多流。
2.根据权利要求1所述的广播接收设备,其中调制解调器经由网络的至少一条带外信道接收数据报。
3.根据权利要求1所述的广播接收设备,其中调制解调器接收按照有线数据业务接口技术规范(DOCSIS,Data Over Cable ServiceInterface Specifications)传送的数据报。
4.根据权利要求1所述的广播接收设备,其中数据报包括因特网协议(IP)数据报。
5.根据权利要求1所述的广播接收设备,其中AV流分离器通过删除数据报的报头来分离AV流。
6.根据权利要求1所述的广播接收设备,其中MUX通过向经由多个调谐器接收到的多个AV流和从数据报中分离出的AV流分别添加前置报头来产生多流。
7.一种用于在带有分别接收多个AV流的多个调谐器的广播接收设备中提供多流的方法,所述方法包括步骤:
接收来自广播站的包括AV流的数据报;
从数据报中分离AV流;以及
通过组合所述多个AV流和从数据报中分离出的AV流来产生多流。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中数据报的接收包括经由网络的至少一条带外信道接收数据报。
9.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,数据报是按照DOCSIS传送。
10.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中数据报包括IP数据报。
