Abstract
A tube cutting assembly has a pair of opposite, rotatable cutting wheels (6, 18), the outer of which is movable into engagement with a rotatable tube (3) for cutting through the tube wall (5). Each cutting wheel (6, 18) is provided with a peripheral elastic ring (10, 22) which is configured to engage the tube wall (5) and which is compressible towards the opposite cutting wheel.
