Abstract

Description

用于滑动斜角锯的改进的防护栏结构
技术领域
本发明总体上涉及滑动斜角锯,尤其涉及用于滑动钭角锯的防护栏结构。
背景技术
由于滑动斜角锯可提供比非滑动钭角锯的更大锯割范围而为本领域人所熟知。参看图1-2,一般的现有技术滑动斜角锯有一个底座11,一个连接于此底座11上的可转动工作台12,以及一个锯组件,锯组件具有一个突耳16,一个以枢轴方式与突耳连接的枢转臂17A,一个马达20,一个由该马达20驱动的刀片19,一个覆盖此刀片19上部分的上刀片防护器17,及一个以枢轴方式连接于上刀片防护器17、用于覆盖刀片下部的刀片下防护器18。马达20通常连接于上刀片防护器17。
该滑动斜角锯通常有一个连接于底座11的可动防护栏组件20。组件20沿横向延伸越过工作台12,工件则被面对着此组件安置和支承以便进行锯切作业。可动防护栏组件20包括一个连接于底座11上的固定防护栏21,一个连接于固定防护栏上的可动防护栏22。可动防护栏22通常以可滑动方式连接于固定防护栏21。
此外,滑动斜角锯还有一个使用户能沿工作台12水平地移动锯组件的机构。参看图1,绝大多数滑动斜角锯是通过将锯组件与至少一个导轨15连接来实现水平移动的,导轨以可滑动方式连接于与工作台相连的支承托架14(请参看美国专利US6067885)。
作为一种替换,至少一个导轨15可以如图2所示那样以可滑动方式与工作台12相连。然后支承托架14与该导轨固定连接。此外,支承托架14可如美国专利US5054352所示那样与一个突耳16连接。
在美国专利US5862732中公开了另一种结构,该专利在这里作为一个整体引入参考,其中的导轨15被固定连接于工作台12,支承托架14则(与锯组件)沿导轨15滑动。
采用这类结构,用户就可以朝前推动锯组件,使之朝下运动,然后向后推动锯组件以便切割工件。
发明内容
本发明采用了一种改进了的斜角锯。此锯包括一个底座,一个以可转动方式连接于此底座的工作台,一个可在前、后位置间移动的锯组件,锯组件有一个突耳,一个以枢转方式与突耳连接的枢转臂,一个连接于枢转臂的上刀片防护器(guard),一个连接于上刀片防护器上的马达及一个由马达驱动的刀片,此锯还有连接于工作台和锯组件中的一个上的支承托架,至少一个以可滑动方式连接于工作台和支承托架中的一个上的导轨,一个连接于底座上的防护栏(fence)组件,此防护栏组件具有一个固定连接于底座上的固定防护栏、一个以可动方式连接于固定防护栏上的可动防护栏,及一个至少被置于固定、可动防护栏两者之一后面的辅助防护栏,可动防护栏确定一个第一支承平面,辅助防护栏则确定一个大体上平行于第一支承平面的第二支承平面。

具体实施方式
现在参照附图详细地介绍本发明,图中相同的数字标注相同的零件。本发明可以安置于任何种类的滑动斜角锯,例如安装在US6067885、5862732或5054352或如图1、2所示的那种滑动斜角锯上。美国专利US6067885、5662732及5054352中的启示均可用作本申请的参考文献。
参看图1-3,滑动斜角锯10也可以有一个连接于底座11上的可动防护栏组件20。组件20最好沿横向延伸过工作台12,工件对着此组件安置和支承以便进行切割作业,组件20可以具有一个连接于底座11上的固定防护栏21,一个连接于固定防护栏上的可动防护栏。可动防护栏22最好以可滑动方式连接于该固定防护栏21上。本领域的熟练人员可以参看美国专利US5297463、5947931,它们均被用作本申请的参考文献。
可动和/或固定防护栏21、22确定用于支承工件的平面FP,而且固定、可动防护栏最好大体上是共面的。防护栏平面FP最好大体上是垂直的。
此外,底座11和/或工作台12确定一个用于支承工件的平面HP。底座11和工作台12最好大体上是共面的。
固定防护栏21可以有彼此大体上共面的上表面21S。上表面21S最好平行于水平面HP。
在固定和/或可动防护栏21、22后面配置一个辅助防护栏23是有优奌的。辅助防护栏23最好有大体上平行和/或垂直于防护栏平面FP的表面23S。
就此方案来说,用户可以如图4所示那样,取下可动防护栏22,並在底座11和/或工作台12上安置一个垫块24。垫块24最好有与固定防护栏21同样的高度。工件w可以放置于固定防护栏21和垫块24上。工件w也可以靠贴辅助防护栏23放置。
这种结构无需要求附加锯组件行程和/或更长的导轨就可以有效地扩大切割能力。如图4所示,滑动斜角锯10的切割能力大体上为距离CC,也就是在刀片最前端处(奌19F)的刀片19与工作台12间的交奌和防护栏平面FP之向的距离。
通过在工作台12和/或底座11上放置一个垫块24並将工件W安置在垫块24和固定防护栏21上,工件W被升高到水平面HP之上。由于现在刀片19可以在位置19P处进行切割,这就有效地增大了切割能力,此位置与防护栏平面FP间的距离比刀片19和工作台12间的交奌与平面FP间的距离更大。
切割能力也因为工件W的部分被置于防护栏平面FP后面而增大。最好,通过保证在刀片19被置于其行程最后位置(位置19R)时工件W仍能被完全切割,使表面23S被放置得使切割能力最大。
例如在12吋滑动斜角锯中,切割距离CC可以为14吋左右。如果固定防护栏和垫块的高度为1.5吋左右,而且表面23S被置于防护栏平面FP后1.65吋左右处,此12吋钭角锯的最终切割距离CC’就可约为16.5吋。
本领域的熟练人员可以认识到可对本申请公开的结构做出其它附加和替换。但是,所有这些附加和替换均被看作是本发明的等同物。

Claims (16)

1.一种锯,它包括:
一底座;
一连接于底座的锯组件,锯组件具有一枢转臂,一连接于枢转臂的上刀片防护器,一连接于上刀片防护器的马达,及一由马达驱动的刀片;
一连接于底座的防护栏组件,防护栏组件有一固定连接于底座的固定防护栏,以可动方式连接于固定防护栏的一可动防护栏,可动防护栏确定一第一支承平面,至少被置于固定、可动防护栏两者中的一个后面的一辅助防护栏,辅助防护栏确定一大体上平行于第一支承平面的第二支承平面。
2.如权利要求1所述的锯,其中还具有以可转动方式连接于底座的工作台。
3.如权利要求2所述的锯,其中所述锯组件以枢轴转动方式连接于工作台。
4.如权利要求2所述的锯,其中还具有连接于工作台和锯组件两者之一上的支承托架,以及至少以可滑动方式连接于工作台及支承托架中的一个上的导轨。
5.如权利要求4所述的锯,其中所述锯组件还有被置于至少一个导轨上的突耳,该枢转臂以可枢轴转动的方式连接于突耳上。
6.如权利要求1所述的锯,其中所述固定防护栏有支承面。
7.如权利要求6所述的锯,其中所述支承面大体上平行于所述底座的上表面。
8.如权利要求6所述的锯,其中所述支承面大体上垂直于所述第一支承平面。
9.如权利要求1所述的锯,其中所述固定防护栏有大体上与该第一支承面共面的表面。
10.一种切割工件的方法,它具有以下步骤:
提供一个具有一底座及一连接于底座上的锯组件的锯,该锯组件具有一枢转臂、一连接于枢转臂的上刀片防护器、一安装于上刀片防护器上的马达及一由此马达驱动的刀片,防护栏组件连接于该底座,防护栏组件具有一固定连接于底座的固定防护栏、以可动方式连接于固定防护栏的一可动防护栏,可动防护栏确定一第一支承平面,一至少被置于固定、可动防护栏中的一个后面的辅助防护栏,辅助防护栏确定一大体上平行于第一支承平面的第二支承平面;
从固定防护栏上拆去可动防护栏;
将工件置于该固定防护栏上、並且使工件靠贴着辅助防护栏;和
使该锯组件作向下的枢轴转动。
11.如权利要求10所述方法,其中还具有将一垫块置于底座上、並使之贴靠固定防护栏的步骤。
12.如权利要求10所述方法,其中该锯还具有一以可转动方式连接于底座的工作台。
13.如权利要求12所述方法,其中该锯组件被以可枢轴转动的方式连接于底座上。
14.如权利要求12所述方法,其中该锯还具有一被连接于工作台和锯组件两者之一上的支承托架,及至少以可滑动方式连接于工作台及支承托架中的一个上的一导轨。
