After the serving GPRS support node receives the request, it receives from the gateway GPRS support node the temporary mobile group identity distributed by the gateway GPRS support node or the broadcast/multicast service center. The serving GPRS support node knows that the user equipment is a local user, correspondingly sets the temporary mobile group identifier roaming indication bit, and notifies the user equipment of the temporary mobile group identifier in the context acceptance message for activating multimedia broadcast/multicast services. Fig. 2 is a solution to the paging problem under repeated allocation of temporary mobile group identifiers. When the same temporary mobile group identity is assigned to different services, the serving GPRS support node shall carry the APN and IP group of the multimedia broadcast/multicast service in the paging message when performing paging for such temporary mobile group identity broadcast address or public land mobile network identity. When user equipment 1 and user equipment 2 receive the paging message, they check whether the APN and IP multicast address are the same as those of the multimedia broadcast/multicast service multicast group they have joined or check whether the public land mobile network identity is the same as that of the user The network identification of the device itself is consistent. If the received parameters of user equipment 1 are consistent with the saved parameters, it initiates a service request to the serving GPRS support node, and if the parameters of user equipment 2 are inconsistent, no response is necessary.
