Abstract
一种带有若干组合式喷嘴(6)和一个装在内燃机排气系统(23)内用于催化还原废气中的氢氧化物的催化式排气净化器(24)的四冲程狄塞尔内燃机。上述的组合式喷嘴具有分别由单个的凸轮(12,13)驱动的泵活塞。上述凸轮(12,13)的凸轮曲线(B、C)包括一个在内燃机的正常喷油阶段实施喷油的第一凸轮脊(20)和一个在内燃机排气阶段形成所谓燃烧室内的后喷油、以便对催化式排气净化器供给气化燃油的第二凸轮脊(21,22)。
Description
本发明涉及一种具有一个或多个气缸的四冲程内燃机,所述的气缸分别包括:一个燃烧室;一个与各气缸室相通的燃油喷嘴;一个用于将燃油供入各喷嘴的燃油泵;一条使各燃烧室与用于催化还原废气中的NOx的催化式排气净化器相连通的排气管道;和一个向上述催化式排气净化器供给燃油的装置。
通常使用一种称为DENOX的催化式排气净化器对狄塞尔内燃机废气中的氮氧化物进行催化还原。众所周知,上述这种催化式排气净化器的效率较低,而且它们发挥作用的温度范围窄,若添加碳氢化合物可提高其效率并使上述温度范围扩大。为此,可将额外的狄塞尔燃油以气化形态添加到催化式排气净化器中,供入燃油的部位只要燃油在进入催化式排气净化器之前不发生燃烧便无关紧要了。
已知有各种将燃油供入催化式排气净化器中的方法和装置。一种方法是用一个独立的燃油系统,在催化式排气净化器之前将燃油喷入排气管道中。在另一种例如国际专利WO 96/03572公开的方法中,内燃机的正常燃油喷嘴在正常喷油阶段后在排气阶段将少量的燃油喷入一个或多个燃烧室内,从而使气化态的燃油与废气一起输入催化式排气净化器中。为此,在内燃机中采用一种称为“公共导轨”并带有高压容器的喷油系统,上述高压容器借助于设置在车辆燃油箱与高压容器之间的高压泵连续地保持在高压状态,并通过与各喷嘴协同动作的电子控制阀与全部喷嘴相连通。由于燃油系统处于恒定压力下,所以从理论上讲在内燃机的工作循环过程中,燃油可以在任何时间喷出任意次数。借助于控制器(控制计算机)既可在正常喷油阶段又可在额外的后喷油阶段控制喷油,上述的控制器根据输入的各种发动机数据打开和关闭控制阀。采用一种公共导轨式喷油系统,便可以自由地选择后喷油阶段,因为上述系统不像通常的凸轮轴驱动的喷油系统那样必须考虑改变燃油压力的过程。
本发明的目的是在一种本文序言中所述的那种类型的内燃机中达到上面所述的后喷油而不采用公知的公共导轨式系统或任何其他独立的剂量系统。
按照本发明通过下述方案实现上述目的,即燃油泵装置含有对应于每个喷嘴的独立的燃油泵和一根由内燃机曲轴带动的凸轮轴,在该凸轮轴上设有对应于每个燃油泵的凸轮,该凸轮具有一个用来在每一个工作循环中在相关的燃油泵中形成一个第一泵冲程的第一凸轮脊,和至少一个用来在每一个工作循环中在完成第一泵冲程之后按预定的曲轴旋转角度形成一个相关燃油泵的第二泵冲程的第二凸轮脊,而且,设置了一个电子控制器,用于控制与每个喷嘴协同动作的旁通阀,以便在各个泵冲程中根据输入控制器的各种控制参数调节喷油量和时间。
在上述的实施例中,第二次喷油阶段的时间间隔取决于第二凸轮脊相对于第一凸轮脊的几何位置,而每个喷嘴精确的喷油时间和喷油量则可根据内燃机的工作状态利用旁通阀来改变,所述的旁通阀也用于决定是否一点油都不喷出,也就是说喷油量可控制到零。
在本发明的至少具有两个气缸的内燃机的一个实施例中,第一凸轮带有一个具有在完成第一泵冲程后按一定的曲轴旋转角度形成一个第二泵冲程的凸轮曲线的第二凸轮脊,而第二凸轮带有一个具有在完成第一泵冲程后按另一个预定的曲轴旋转角度形成一个第二泵冲程的凸轮曲线的第二凸轮脊。在这个实施例中,设置一个控制器,用于按照内燃机的负荷控制喷嘴的旁通阀,以便在内燃机负荷低(部分负荷)时通过一个具有较早后喷油动作的喷嘴、而在内燃机负荷高(全负荷)时通过一个具有较晚的后喷油动作的喷嘴将额外的燃油喷入催化式排气净化器中,按照这种方式,本系统在喷油时间方面实际上可以基本上达到与公共导轨式系统相同的自由度。
下面结合附图所示实施例较详细地说明本发明,附图中:

在图1中,标号1和2标出一个四冲程狄塞尔内燃机中的两个气缸,而虚线示出另外的气缸3和4(即四气缸内燃机的第三和第四气缸)。
每个气缸都有一个通入燃烧室5的燃油喷嘴(总的以6标出),该喷嘴6含有一个喷嘴部分7和一个带有相关的电子控制旁通阀9的泵部分8。这种类型的燃油喷嘴6通常称为电子组合喷嘴,因为泵8的喷嘴7组成一个组件。泵8是一种活塞泵,其活塞是按普通方式借助于由内燃机曲轴10带动的凸轮轴11的工作而移动的,所述的凸轮轴带有对应于每个喷嘴6的凸轮12或13。
在一种普通的带有组合喷嘴6的内燃机中,所有的凸轮都具有相同的带有一个获得泵的活塞冲程的上升脊的凸轮曲线。所述的上升脊是按照引燃顺序彼此相对地移动的,它们的位置决定了各气缸内可能的喷油间隔,而实际的喷油量和喷油时间则由旁通阀9调节,该阀9是电磁致动的,并由电子控制器15控制。传感器16和17向控制器15发出代表曲轴10的转速和凸轮轴11的角度位置的信号。此外,表示加速器位置的信号18也输入控制器15中,与控制器15相连接的其他传感器与说明本发明无关,故在图中不示出。
凸轮12和13具有相同的第一上升脊20,该上升脊20在压缩冲程结束和膨胀冲程开始时实现将燃油喷入燃烧室的正常泵冲程。按照本发明,在所示实施例中,凸轮12和13都做出分别标为21和22的第二上升脊,如图1和2所示,凸轮12的上升脊21与正常上升脊20的角度距离大于凸轮13的上升脊22与正常上升脊20的角度距离。
借助于上升脊21和22,在第一泵冲程后便开始较短的第二冲程,以便在气缸排气阀关闭之前将少量的燃油喷入燃烧室。喷油时间的选定要使该燃油已气化但来在气缸中引燃,这就意味着气化的燃油将与废气一起通过内燃机排气管23输送到催化式排气净化器24中。
在图3中,曲线B示出由上升脊21形成的泵冲程,而曲线C示出由上升脊22形成的泵冲程。图3分别示出进气阀和排气阀的提升高度曲线D和E。从图中的曲线可看出,上升脊21引起的喷油比上升脊22引起的喷油要晚些。图中的泵冲程以20a、21a和22a表示。
控制器15按照其接收到的信号计算出何时应喷入过量的燃油,并选择对应于凸轮12或13的旁通阀动作。图2中的曲线B和C分别给出形成相应高度曲线B和C的凸轮外形。
上述结构的四缸内燃机具有一个与凸轮12相当的附加凸轮,并具有一个相应的凸轮13,而六缸内燃机则具有两个相当于凸轮12的附加凸轮,和两个相当于凸轮13的附加凸轮,每个凸轮都可以安排来产生一个使相关的喷油泵,对催化式排气净化器提供所需最大燃油量的额外泵冲程。在此情况下,控制器15可以控制喷油操作,使各个喷嘴轮流作业,以保证均衡的磨损。这种结构也可以粗确地控制燃油量,因为旁通阀9的反应较慢,产生的影响小。在另一个实施例中,凸轮可安排来提供所需最大燃油量的一半(四缸内燃机)或三分之一(六缸内燃机)的额外泵冲程。此时,控制器15在一个工作循环过程中控制通过两个(四缸内燃机)或3个(六缸内燃机)喷嘴的喷油作业。
可按照许多不同的方法来实施各个喷嘴之间的轮流喷油作业。对于带有两组(每组3个)形状相同的凸轮的六缸内燃机,可按如下方式实施不同喷嘴之间的轮流喷油:
-两次额外喷油之间相隔720°(每个循环用同一喷嘴);
-两次额外喷油之间相隔480°(不同的喷嘴);
-两次额外喷油之间相隔960°(不同的喷嘴);
-一般是两次额外喷油之间相隔240°的倍数。
当然,在本发明范围内可以利用凸轮获得两次以上的不同的后喷油动作。四缸内燃机有4次不同的喷油动作,而六缸内燃机则有6次不同的喷油动作,以便使喷油时间更好地适应内燃机的负荷,此时,必须使每个凸轮产生可对催化式排气净化器供应所需的最大燃油量的泵冲程。也可以做出带有3次不同后喷油动作的六缸内燃机,在此内燃机中设置的凸轮做成可使泵冲程提供所需最大燃油量的一半,并且在内燃机的一个工作循环过程中由控制器15控制两个喷嘴之间的喷油量。
上面已经结合带有所谓组合式喷嘴的多缸内燃机的实施例说明了本发明。但是,本发明也可用于单缸内燃机和带有所谓的组合泵喷嘴的内燃机,也就是带有分开的喷嘴和泵但每个喷嘴具有自己的由凸轮驱动的泵活塞的燃油系统的内燃机,从理论上讲,上述泵可以是气缸直排式的泵、径向活塞泵或轴向活塞泵。另外,也可以在本发明的基本思想范围内设置一个以上的用于额外喷油的额外凸轮脊。
Claims (8)
1.一种带有一个或多个气缸(1,2,3)的四冲程内燃机,上述气缸分别含有一个燃烧室(5)、一个通向各气缸室的燃油喷嘴(7)、一个将燃油供入各喷嘴的燃油泵(8)、一条使各燃烧室与用于催化还原废气中的NOx的催化式排气净化器(24)相连通的排气管道(23)、和一个向催化式排气净化器供给燃油的装置,其特征在于,上述的燃油泵装置含有每个喷嘴(7)各自的燃油泵(8),和由内燃机曲轴(10)驱动的凸轮轴(11),该凸轮轴(11)带有对应于每个燃油泵的凸轮(12,13),该凸轮里有一个用来在每一个工作循环中实施相关燃油泵的第一泵冲程的第一凸轮脊(20)和至少一个用来在每一个工作循环中在完成第一泵冲程后按预定的曲轴旋转角度实施相关燃油泵的第二泵冲程的第二凸轮脊(21,22),其特征还在于设有一个电子控制器(15),用于控制与各喷嘴协同动作的旁通阀(9),以便根据输入控制器的各种控制参数调节各个泵冲程中的喷油量和时间。
