Description

图3表示本发明形式a2)的转移带,其中非白色着色的塑料结合中间层以中间层状被密封在白色着色转移层中,即非白色着色的中间层(4)位于具有相同组成的转移层(2)和附加层(2A)之间。附加层(2A)的任务是在透明的压敏粘合剂层上观察时掩盖由中间层(4)引起的深色底色。
图4表示本发明形式b)的转移带,其中在压敏粘合剂层(3A)中分散有细分散的非白色颜料。
本发明中的术语“非白色颜料”优选是指基本上与需覆盖符号,特别是字母相似的颜料。它们通常是兰色、黑色、红色或绿色。因此,一般,不用黄色色彩。在实际应用中,特别优选黑色颜料,尤其是碳黑。颜料的颗粒大小不是关键。但是,优选颗粒大小为约1.5-0.005μm,更优选小于约1μm至胶态颗粒状。也可用细粒金属粉末,例如尤其是细粒铝可用以代替彩色颜料。铝颗粒优选片状铝,具有的厚度优选为约3-10μm。其长度至多可达到约15μm而无问题。特别合适地是使用水基铝浆。这种铝浆是按特定的湿磨法制备的。一种特别优选的浆料是Carl Schlenk AG公司销售的商标为Aquasilber的铝浆LPW/1380。
中间层和/或压敏粘合剂层优选含有至少约0.1%(重量)非白色颜料,更优选约0.1-5%(重量),特别优选约0.2-3.5%(重量)。两层中所用的非白色颜料含量不应低于0.1%(重量),否则在所要求的范围内不能达到预期的效果。但是,含量不应超过5%(重量),否则改进不明显。而且,这种超出也与压敏粘合剂层有关,将影响粘合性。为了满足的基本需要,其值不应超过约3.5%。
转移层是“白色着色的”。换言之,为含有要求量的常规白色颜料,以使转移层具有一定的覆盖能力。对此,可特别提及氧化钛(钛白),以及令人满意的白垩、矾土和/或胶态硅酸。在本发明的范围内,还可使用其它合适的着色颜料染色。这种染色可通过掺入合适量的黑色颜料,尤其是碳黑进行,但是,也可通过用其它颜料例如黄色和绿色颜料染色来进行调色。如果色采适合于应覆盖有字母等的基质,那么对这种染色要求是需要的。有关“非白色颜料”的颗粒大小采用本文相应的大小。
为了形成含粘合剂的转移层,优选使用热塑性或热弹性聚合物的水溶液或水分散液。在本发明中,使用下列物质来解决这个问题是有利的:a)分子量为15000-50000的聚氨酯,例如Stahl化学公司的Permuthane U4924或拜尔AG公司的Desmolac 2100,b)分子量为20000-30000的直链饱和聚酯,例如Goodyear Tire和Rubber公司的Vitel PE 307,Morton公司的Polyflex 46962,c)苯乙烯-异戊二烯-苯乙烯共聚物,例如Shell化学公司的Clariflex TR 1107,d)丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯,例如Roehm GmbH的Plexigum7H,e)二苯基酸改性的聚酰胺,例如Rhone-Poulenc公司的Scope 30或Emery化学品公司的Emerez 1533,f)丙酸乙烯酯基的聚合物分散液,例如BASF公司的Propiofan 6D和g)水溶性有羧甲基基团的聚甲基丙烯酸酯,例如Roehm GmbH公司的RohagitSD15。
上述列举的物质是不完全的,意味着对这种物质的选择没有限制。也可使用专业人员熟知的许多其它粘合剂,尤其是粘合剂的种类不是本发明的实质。
为了使本发明基本上达到最佳化,在选择特定粘合剂以形成转移层时,还应注意所考虑的增塑剂的种类。将转移层加到要修改或覆盖的表面时,增塑剂不会透过通常形成的薄的压敏粘合剂层并与位于那儿的要修改的处所或着色剂接触,该接触会引起转移层的不希望有的着色。常规的增塑剂例如硅油、蓖麻油和矿物油则适用于该目的。特别适用于其它应用领域的增塑剂例如邻苯二酸酯或油醇不完全适用于本发明。为了削弱上述增塑剂在界面上产生的有害作用,在含粘合剂的转移层中可掺入所谓的“固色剂”,以沉淀或使任何迁移的着色剂不溶,以使着色剂不会渗透到经涂覆的转移层中并且再次染色。合适的固色剂是单宁和单宁衍生物。通常人们将这种固色剂加入到墨水和墨汁中。在含粘合剂的转移层中,其用量优选为约0.5-5%(重量),更优选为约1.5-3.5%(重量),其中用量为约2-2.5%(重量)时是特别优选的。
为了形成转移层,优选使用水溶液或分散液形式的粘合剂。另外,可加入任选的下面述及的添加剂。合适的溶剂或分散剂的选择,将取决于所用粘合剂的种类。在此,特别优选选自以下的低沸点至中等沸点的有机溶剂:醇类,例如乙醇、异丙醇和丁醇,酮类,例如丙酮和甲乙酮,酯类,例如乙酸甲酯和乙酸乙酯,芳香烃,例如甲苯,脂肪烃,例如沸点为70-140℃的汽油,它们可单独使用或混合使用,尤其是与水混合,以单独或与低沸点的水溶性有机溶剂混合使用。
浓缩溶液或分散液形式的粘合剂不是本发明的关键。大致的原则是粘合剂的含量为约3-15%(重量),优选6-12%(重量)。为了形成转移层,在辅助载体层上涂覆溶液或分散液,其含量优选为15-25g/m2(干重),特别优选的含量为18-22g/m2。
含粘合剂的转移层中一个有利的组分是“剥离助剂”。在基体上涂覆转移层时,是在拉伸应力条件下,因此,要整齐地剥离。可使用纤维素衍生物作为剥离助剂。特别优选的纤维素衍生物是在有机溶剂和/或水中可溶解的纤维素醚,例如甲基-、乙基-、羟乙基-、乙基羟乙基-和羧甲基纤维素,纤维素酯,例如乙酰丁酸纤维和乙酰丙酸纤维。各种其它的产生所要求作用的可溶性纤维素衍生物也是适用的。显而易见,在可溶性纤维素衍生物中的纤维素基本构架是重要的,因而使纤维素改性引入的基团仅在提高在所选择的溶剂中的溶解性。
为了形成最好的转移层,剥离助剂与粘合剂的用量比为约1∶2-1∶20,其中1∶4-1∶10是优选的。
压敏粘合剂层可由工业用的压敏粘合剂组成。它们是弹性的、持久粘合性的和粘合力大的自粘合物质,这种物质在低压、室温下立刻粘合在各种表面上。优选将这种物质以含水分散液涂覆在已经位于辅助载体层上的转移层上,必要时涂覆在中间层上,原因是由此已经形成的层不再溶解。这类粘合剂中优选使用丙烯酸酯基的压敏粘合剂。起始原料是粘性溶液和分散液,它们是基于橡胶、聚丙烯酸酯、聚乙烯基醚和/或聚乙烯基异丁烯。优选地是基于聚丙烯酸酯的市售物质。合适的商售产品是Ucecryl 913和Ucecryl PC80(由ucb Dogenbos,Belgien公司销售)以及塑料分散液VP959/6(由Freihoff公司销售)。已存在于含水介质中的要涂覆的压敏粘合剂、优选含有润湿剂和/或表面活性剂(销售商标为Byk W)。在本发明方式b)中,在要涂覆的压敏粘合剂的溶液或分散液中,包括一种细分散的非白色颜料。用来形成压敏粘合剂层的压敏粘合剂的分散液/溶液(必要时加入了添加剂)在转移层或附加层上的涂覆量为约1-5g/m2(干重),优选约2-4g/m2。
在本发明的范围内,压敏粘合剂层的厚度为约1-5μm,优选约2-4μm。同样的厚度范围也适用于上述方式a)的塑料结合的中间层。白色着色的转移层的厚度优选为15-25μm,更优选约18-22μm。低于下值会使制备时出现困难或者影响各层的功能。超过该极限值时没有多大的改进,而且也造成了不必要的浪费。另外,在小工具中使用较厚的带同样也是无利的,因为对于预定体积的卷带盒子来说,厚度越大就意味着带的长度必须缩短。
本发明对用于中间层的塑料粘合的粘合剂基本上没有限制。在方式a1)中,可考虑使用在构成白色着色转移层中所使用的同样粘合剂。在方式a2)中甚至可使用构成压敏粘合剂层成分的这种粘合剂或塑料。对此,可参见前面的实施方式。
本发明转移带的辅助载体层优选由塑料膜组成,如打字机色带的载体中通常使用的,例如由聚对苯二甲酸乙酯、聚丙烯、聚乙烯、聚氯乙烯或聚碳酸酯组成。涂覆硅酮的纸也可作为辅助载体层。硅酮涂层会削弱含粘合剂的转移层和辅助载体层之间的粘合张力。它们可用其它的防粘剂例如聚四氟乙烯代替。
辅助载体层的厚度为约10-16μm,优选15-55μm。
本发明转移带各层的上述物质一般能满足基本需要,在方式a)的情况下,在转移层/中间层/压敏粘合剂层的结合中产生最小粘合张力(Dupre′schenGleichung,Lit.:K.L.Wolf“界面物理和化学”,Springer出版社,1957,第164页中有关的粘合能力的限定)或在方式b)的情况下,转移层和压敏粘合剂层之间的粘合张力要比辅助载体层和转移层之间所产生的粘合张力大。如个别情况下不符合则还需要在辅助载体层上施加一层合适的防粘层,以满足这一基本需要。因此,在基体上形成的转移层应该不与其它要碰到的材料接触,即在用手或纸触摸时不粘合。因此,下面给出了成功应用本发明转移带的粘合张力比的结果,其中符号“S”表示各种材料之间的粘合张力比∶S1纸/压敏粘合剂层,S2在转移层/中间层/压敏粘合剂层的结合中是最弱的结合,S3转移层/辅助载体层,S4转移层/纸和S5压敏粘合剂层/辅助载体层的(背面)。在这种情况下,尽可能地保持许多关系:S1大于S2,S2大于S3,S5比S2小很多和S5小于S3。此外,在基体,尤其是在纸上所涂覆的转移层的游离表面上向外的粘合力应尽可能小到没有,即S4是0或接近0。此外,本发明转移带以卷式手持器使用时,要确保压敏粘合剂层与辅助载体层的背面粘合要比转移层/中间层/压敏粘合剂层层间结合的最小粘合性还要小并且要弱于转移层和辅助载体层之间的粘合性。
在使用本发明的转移带时,人们最好使用一种工具,该工具使涂有压敏粘合剂的转移层展卷,而同时辅助载体卷起。这使得操作本发明的转移带特别容易。这种手持工具可以是市售的手持工具。对此,特别适用的小工具可以是已知的“手动卷轴”,其中易夹住的外壳提供一个有转移带的料卷轴,由该卷轴穿过由外壳突出的使用端并由此再回到外壳中的卷绕轴上。通过外壳中两个轴间的合适的传动齿轮来确保转移带具有足够的张力。用户在使用转移带时用手握住外壳并借助于使用端头将通过其端边在基体上按压而使(可剥离的)带层转移到基体(例如用于要校正的印刷纸)上。在加压时,用户相对基体移动工具,由此在基体上转移一层覆盖层或发荧光的层,其中挠性辅助载体层离开料卷轴并缠绕在卷绕轴上。
结果表明了本发明的优点在于本发明的转移带显著地提高了覆盖能力,而不会因在白色着色的转移带中染色量升高时必须进行调节的缺点。如果采用本发明的方法特性,那么在有意染色白色着色转移层时也达到了令人惊奇的效果。在这种情况下,还出乎意料地提高了覆盖能力。
下面将说明本发明的工艺,但不应限于这种说明。在开始描述的现有技术中,转移层同样已经被染色。所达到的效果可以通过下面的事实说明,比较大的白色颜料颗粒,尤其是二氧化钛颗粒间具有较大的空隙,该空隙允许光线穿过到达欲覆盖的字母上,使得字母未被完全覆盖并被穿透。所述的白色颜料不能以合适的工艺生产成本生产很小的颗粒。另外,例如采用碳黑,其颗粒易于制成胶态颗粒大小。通过染色白色着色的转移层,较小的碳黑颗粒进入空隙中,结果使得光线的透过至少受到限制。应限制增加碳黑的用量,因为白色着色的转移层的“白度”会受到很大的影响。现在,对专业人员极其惊奇地是没有上面所提及的染色,在实现本发明的方法特性的a)和/或b)时,不仅基本上保持了白色着色转移层所期望有的白度,而且还极大地提高了转移层的覆盖能力。这对观察者来说,是易于看清楚的。转移层小范围的染色仍可以保持无影响。
下面借助于实施例更详细地说明本发明。实施例1
下面制备用于形成白色着色转移层的含水分散液:丙烯酸酯水分散液(25%水液/市售产Worleecryl7712W,汉堡,Worlee Chemie GmbH公司产品) 23.42重量份LactimonWS(聚羧酸和聚硅氧烷共聚物的烷基铵盐) 0.8重量份2-丁氧基乙醇 1.5重量份Byk-034(在矿物油中的疏水类硅酮组分) 0.2重量份Byk-307(聚醚改性的二甲基聚硅氧烷共聚物) 0.02重量份山梨糖醇 5.00重量份硅酸 4.00重量份二氧化钛 35.00重量份象牙黑 0.06重量份细空心圆球的水分散液 30.00重量份

上述空心圆球水分散液的制备如下:
将800重量份市售的美国,费城Rohm & Haas公司的Ropaque-乳化液Op-62LO-E(由有效固含量为52%以及实际固含量为37.5%和pH值为8.0-8.7的非成膜聚合物(颗粒直径为0.4μm,内径为0.28μm))与176重量份水和2重量份消泡剂(Byk-034,矿物油中的疏水、含硅酮组分)和22重量份甲酸溶液(通过混合100重量份浓甲酸和900重量份水制备)进行混合。按上述配方加入30重量份的这种经酸化的分散液。
用一个刮墨刀在硅烷化纸载体上涂覆18g/m2量的上述覆盖物料。然后在约80下通过输入热空气而蒸发掉水份。
接着用一个刮刀在转移层的表面上涂覆由下列组分制备的水分散液。水 30.5重量份Colanyl黑PRl30(Hoechst AG公司产品)(含约30%碳黑,剩余为水和分散剂=浆料) 0.5重量份塑料分散液VP859/6(50%丙烯酸酯压敏粘合剂)(制造商:Freihof公司) 67.00重量份25%氨 2.00重量份

Claims (11)
1.具有辅助载体层和压敏粘合剂层的多层、挠性转移带,其中辅助载体层和压敏粘合剂层之间有一层含粘合剂的白色着色转移层,它对压敏粘合剂层的粘合力高于辅助载体层,其特征在于:非白色颜料以细分散形式分散在
a)塑料结合的中间层中,该中间层位于
a1)白色着色的转移层和压敏粘合剂层的中间或在
a2)白色着色转移层中,和/或在
b)压敏粘合剂层中。
2.根据权利要求1的转移带,其特征在于,中间层和/或压敏粘合剂层至少含有约0.1%(重量)的非白色颜料。
3.根据权利要求2的转移带,其特征在于,中间层和/或压敏粘合剂层至少含有约0.1-5%(重量),优选约0.2-3.5%(重量)的非白色颜料。
4。根据权利要求1-3中之一的转移带,其特征在于,转移层含有作为白色颜料的细颗粒二氧化钛。
5.根据权利要求1-4中之一的转移带,其特征在于,非白色颜料是黑色颜料。
6.根据权利要求5的转移带,其特征在于,黑色颜料是碳黑。
7.根据权利要求1-4中之一的转移带,其特征在于,非白色颜料是细颗粒铝。
8.根据权利要求-7中至少一项的转移带,其特征在于,中间层a)的厚度为约1-5μm,优选2-4μm。
9.根据权利要求1-8中至少一项的转移带,其特征在于,白色着色转移层的厚度为约15-25μm,优选18-22μm。
10.根据权利要求1-9中至少一项的转移带,其特征在于,压敏粘合剂层b)的厚度为约1-5μm,优选2-4μm。
11.上述权利要求中至少一项转移带的用途,用于卷式手持工具。
