Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明一般涉及连接器组件技术,例如光导纤维连接器组件。
背景技术
具有多种结构的光导纤维连接器广泛用于光导纤维电缆的终端,其容易使所述电缆与其它电缆相互连接,或者与其他光导纤维传送装置相互连接。典型的光导纤维连接器包括套元件,在所述套元件的中心装有光导纤维,或者将光导纤维安装在连接器中。所述套元件可以由陶瓷材料制成。连接器的套元件或其他壳体元件的夹持器包含套元件,并且由模制的塑料材料制成。在所述壳体元件和套元件的夹持器中,设有弹簧,以便使套元件产生向前的偏置作用,从而与连接器装置中的另一个安装有光导纤维的套元件相互配合。
一对光导纤维连接器或者连接器和另一个光导纤维的传送装置通常在适配器中相互配合,在所述适配器中,设置的光导纤维具有少量的插入晃动量。适配器和连接器连接在一起,以便将光导纤维端部与端部相互挤压连接。适配器可以是直线形元件,或者适配器可以有这种结构,即,其可以安装在板件、底板、电路板或类似物的开口中。适配器可以安装在印刷电路板上,例如,可以安装在母板上,安装在适配器上的连接器之一可以安装到子板上。
本发明对上述连接器装置的多个方面进行了改进。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种新的和经过改进的连接器组件。
在本发明的优选实施例中,连接器组件包括安装在板件中的适配器。所述适配器包括接合装置,以便限制适配器和板件之间的相对运动。沿着插入方向,光导纤维连接器插入适配器中。在光导纤维连接器上设有释放装置,所述释放装置与接合装置可操作地相联接,以便随着连接器插入适配器,使脱开接合装置。由此,当连接器与适配器相互连接时,解除适配器和板件之间相对运动的限制。
如本文中所述,通过在适配器上设置至少一个弹性锁定臂,其形成接触配合装置,从而通过开口使适配器与板件相互配合。释放装置包括设置在光导纤维连接器上的棘爪装置,例如成角度的表面,所述棘爪装置与锁定臂相互接触配合,以便使锁定臂与板件脱离接合。适配器包括壳体,其尺寸大于板件中的开口,并且与板件的一侧相接合。弹性锁定臂与板件的相对侧相互接合。所述壳体具有第一插座端部,其适合于接收光导纤维连接器,还设有第二插座端部,其适合于接收相应的光导纤维传送装置。所述壳体具有两部分结构,其中包括至少一个关闭元件。

具体实施方式
下面参照附图进行详细描述,采用本发明构思的光导纤维连接器组件包括母板适配器组件,一般由代号16表示,如图1-6所示。图7-10表示子板连接器组件,其由代号18表示,所述子板连接器组件可以与母板连接器组件16相互配合或相互连接。如图2所示,沿着箭头“A”所示方向,可以将防尘盖26组件线插入适配器组件16中。沿着箭头“B”所示方向,可以将适配器组件插入板件34的开口32中。在本实施例所述的光导纤维连接器中,板件34是印刷电路扳(母板)。
首先,参照图1和2,母板适配器组件16一般由两部分结构组成,其包括第一或前部分38,以及,第二或后部分40。在适配器组件中,安装有单一的关闭元件42和一组双关闭元件44。借助一对钩状弹性锁定臂46相互连接适配器组件的两个部分38和40,所述锁定臂46从适配器的后部分40伸出,并且插入适配器前部分38的内侧,以便与一对固定的闭锁台阶48形成搭扣式配合,所述闭锁台阶48在所述适配器的前部分的侧壁上的开口形成。
如上所述,沿着箭头“B”所示的方向,将适配器组件16插入母板34中的开口32,如图2所示。下面参照图1,适配器的前部分38大于母板34中的开口32,所以,适配器的前部分38与母板的前部分34a相贴靠。借助一对弹性锁定臂50,将适配器组件固定到母板上的开口32中,在所述弹性锁定臂50上具有保持台阶50a,所述保持台阶50a位于弹性锁定臂50的远端附近。如图1所示,当适配器组件被安装在母板34的开口32中时,弹性锁定臂50移动进入适配器的后部分40中的槽51,并且,锁定臂的保持台阶50a,与母板34的壁后侧34相互接触配合。由锁定臂50限制适配器组件和母板之间产生沿着插入方向“B”的相对运动。
参照图2和3,母板适配器组件16已经被插入母板34中的开口32。从图中可以看到,适配器的前部分38与母板的前侧34a相互接合,并且,弹性锁定臂50的保持台阶50a与母板的后侧34b相互接合。因此,沿着轴向方向或者组件的插入方向,母板适配器组件和母板时间的运动受到限制。
图4表示一对螺旋弹簧58,其使一对关闭元件44朝向关闭位置偏置。当相关的光导纤维传送装置,例如光导纤维连接器,沿着箭头“C”的方向,插入母板的适配器组件时,受偏置作用的关闭元件44将被打开,当相关的连接器被取出时,螺旋弹簧58将使关闭元件自动闭合。
图5表示螺旋弹簧60具有一个端部60a,所述端部60a被锁定在适配器组件中,螺旋弹簧60的对置端60b与单独的关闭元件42的后侧相互接合。所述螺旋弹簧60使关闭元件42贴靠止挡部16处于关闭位置。如下面所述,当沿着箭头“D”方向,将光导纤维连接器插入适配器组件16中时,克服弹簧60的作用关闭元件42被偏置打开。当取出光导纤维连接器时,关闭元件42在弹簧60的偏置作用下,返回其关闭位置,如图5所示。在图5中还表示弹簧58之一,其包括固定在适配器组件中的固定端58a,以及对置端58b,以便使一对关闭元件44在弹簧的偏置作用下,与止挡64相贴靠。图6表示另一个弹簧58,其具有固定的端部58a和相对的端部58b,以便在弹簧使另一个关闭元件44偏置处于关闭位置,与止挡66相贴靠。基本上,如图4所示,适配器组件16是具有开口端的组件,其具有第一插座端68,以便接受子板连接器组件18,如图7-10所示,子板连接器18还具有第二插座端70,以便接收相应的光导纤维传送装置,例如第二光导纤维连接器。
参照图7-10,子板连接器组件18包括子板72罩,在所述子板罩72上装有套元件74。销夹持器76和一对对准销78。如图9和10所示,对准销78具有头部78A,所述头部78a被固定在销夹持器76的凹陷部分或槽80中,而且,对准销78穿过套元件74向外伸出。对准销78从套元件74的前配合表面74a向前伸出,以便插入第二的连接器的套元件中的相应的对准孔中,所述第二连接器插入适配器组件16的插座端70,如图4所示。如图9中清楚所示,销夹持器76具有向前伸出的悬臂式弹性锁定臂84,在锁定臂84的远端具有钩状物84a,以便钩状物84a与子板罩72上的闭锁台阶86的后端相互接合,从而将针钩状物夹持器76固定在子板罩中,并且,使套元件74穿过子板罩的前开口88定位。如图10所示,套元件74具有平行的通道89,以便接受多个扁平的光导纤维电缆。
借助设置在子板罩上的安装柱91,将子板连接器组件18的子板罩72安装到印刷电路板(子板)90上,安装柱91可插入子板中的安装孔92。安装柱91的直径可以小于安装孔92的直径,以便在子板连接器组件和子板之间,提供一定程度的浮动位移量。
联系图2,参照图8和9,子板连接器组件18的子板罩72具有悬臂式弹性锁定臂100,所述锁定臂100从子板罩的前端部分向前伸出,并且与侧面间隔开。弹性锁定臂100具有向内侧突出的闭锁钩状物100a,所述闭锁钩状物100A位于锁定臂100的远端,以便与固定的闭锁台阶102以锁定接合,如图2所示,固定的闭锁台阶102位于适配器组件16的后部分40的外侧。因此,当子板连接器组件18被插入适配器组件16的插座端68时,如图6所示,借助锁定臂100,闭锁钩状物100a和闭锁台阶102,将子板连接器组件连接到适配器组件上。
在图10中清楚的描绘了子板连接器组件18的子板罩72,其包括设置在子板连接器组件18的上侧和下侧的棘爪装置,所述棘爪装置由一对具有角度的释放台阶或成角度的凸轮表面104构成。通过图3可以清楚看到,在适配器组件的锁定臂50的最远端部具有向内成角度倾斜的相邻表面106。可以看到,当连接器组件沿着箭头“E”方向插入母板适配器组件16中时,这些相邻表面106与子板连接器组件18的释放台阶104相互接合,如图3所示。当子板连接器组件与适配器组件连接时,即,弹性锁定臂100与固定闭锁台阶102相互配合时,于板罩上的释放台阶104与弹性锁定臂50上的表面106相互接合,并且沿着箭头“F”的方向,使锁定臂50沿横向向内偏置,如图3所示。当使得锁定臂向内偏置时,位于弹性锁定臂外侧的定位台阶50A与母板34的后侧壁34a脱离接合,因此,弹性锁定臂50的头部108的外侧移动进入母板34的孔32内。应当理解,可以构成各种部分,以便在弹性锁定臂50的头部108与母板的后侧壁34A相互脱离的瞬间,弹性锁定臂100与固定的闭锁台阶102相互接合。因此,适配器组件16连同子板连接器组件18相对于母板沿着轴向方向的运动不再受限制。基本上,在子板连接器组件上的释放台阶104包括释放装置,所述释放装置可以有效地解除母板34对适配器组件16的轴向移动的限制。因此,一旦子板连接器组件18与适配器组件16相互连接,连接器组件和适配器组件两者可以相对于母板沿轴向移动。依次,子板88可以相对于母板移动。这可以消除子板和母板之间的相互作用力,这种母板和子板时间的相互作用力可能引起元件劈裂、变形、偏斜和/或电路板的性能下降。当子板连接器组件18与适配器组件16相互连接时,因为子板连接器组件和/或子板与母板的后侧壁相靠,显而易见,适配器组件不能从母板向前拉出。
应当理解,在不脱离本发明的构思和中心特征的条件下,本发明还包括其他特殊形式。因此,本发明的优选实施例仅仅是对本发明进行描述,而不是给予限制,本发明不限于上述给出的优选实施例。
Claims (12)
1、一种光导纤维连接器组件,其通过开口(32)安装在板件(34)上,其包括:
安装在板件开口(32)上的适配器(16),其包括接合装置,以便限制适配器(16)和板件(34)之间的相对运动;
光导纤维连接器(18),其可以沿着插入方向(D)插入适配器(16)中;
光导纤维连接器(18)上的释放装置,其与所述接合装置可操纵地相互联接,以随着连接器(18)插入适配器(16)来脱开接合装置,由此,取消对于适配器和板件(34)之间的相对运动的限制。
2、按照权利要求1所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述接合装置包括至少一个设置在适配器(16)上的弹性锁定臂(50),其与板件(34)在孔(32)处接合。
3、按照权利要求2所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述释放装置包括设置在光导纤维连接器(18)上的棘爪装置,其可与弹性锁定臂(50)相互接合,以便使锁定臂移动,脱离与板件(34)的锁定接合。
4、按照权利要求1所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述适配器(16)包括壳体(38),壳体(38)大于板件(34)中的开口(32),并且与板件的一侧(34a)相互接合,所述接合装置与板件的对置侧(34b)接合。
5、按照权利要求4所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述接合装置包括至少一个在适配器(16)上的弹性锁定臂(50),其在开口(32)处与板件(34)相互接合。
6、按照权利要求5所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述释放装置包括设置在光导纤维连接器(18)上的棘爪装置,其可与弹性锁定臂(50)相互接合,以便使锁定臂移动,脱离与板件(34)的对置侧(34b)锁定接合。
7、按照权利要求6所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述棘爪装置包括成角度的凸轮表面(104)。
8、按照权利要求1所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述适配器(16)包括适于接纳光导纤维连接器(18)的第一插座端部(68),以及适于接纳一相关的光导纤维传送装置的第二插座端部(70)。
9、按照权利要求1所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述适配器(16)包括两部分壳体(38、40),其中包括至少一个关闭元件(42、44)。
10、一种光导纤维连接器组件,其通过开口(32)安装在板件(34)上,其包括:
适配器(16),它包括适于接纳一光导纤维连接器(18)的第一插座端部(68),以及适于接纳一相关的光导纤维传送装置的第二插座端部(70),适配器安装在板件(34)的开口(32)中,并且包括一对弹性锁定臂(50),其在开口处可与板件相互接合,以便限制适配器(16)和板件(34)之间的相对运动;
光导纤维连接器(18),它可以沿着插入方向(D)插入适配器(16)中的第一插座端部(68);

12、按照权利要求10所述的光导纤维连接器组件,其特征是:所述适配器(16)包括壳体(38、40),在所述壳体(38、40)中,装有至少一个关闭元件(42、44)。
