Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are some, but not all embodiments of the application. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the application without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the application.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a system for displaying picture content across devices according to an embodiment of the application. As shown in fig. 1, the system includes a picture transmission device and a display device. In some embodiments, the picture sending device and the display device may include a screen device or apparatus such as a cell phone, a computer, a tablet computer, an electronic photo frame, and the like.
In some embodiments, the user selects a point of interest of the displayed picture in the picture transmission device, wherein the point of interest is a portion of the display device that the user expects to display, preferably the point of interest is a center position of the display device that the user expects to display. The picture transmitting apparatus transmits the picture and the position information (including, for example, coordinate information) of the point of interest to the display apparatus. The display device determines a display area based on the point of interest and presents the display area on the display device. Fig. 2 will describe in detail how the display device determines and presents the display area.
According to one aspect of the present application, a method of displaying picture content across devices is provided. Fig. 2 is a flow diagram of a method of displaying picture content across devices according to an embodiment of the application. The embodiment shown in fig. 2 shows how cross-device display of picture content is achieved primarily from the perspective of the display device. As shown in fig. 2, the method includes the following steps.
Step S201, receiving a picture from a picture transmitting device and interest point position information of the picture.
In some embodiments, a user selects a point of interest of a displayed picture in a picture transmission device and transmits the picture and location information (e.g., including coordinate information) of the point of interest to a display device, which receives the picture and the point of interest location information. In some embodiments, the user may select a point of interest in a picture in the picture sending device by means of a gesture, a click, or the like. The selected interest point may be one interest point or a plurality of interest points.
Step S202, determining a display area of the picture on the display screen according to the point of interest location information, the size information of the picture, and the display screen size of the display device.
In some embodiments, for the case where the selected point of interest is a plurality of points of interest, the locations (e.g., including coordinate information) of the plurality of points of interest and the order of the plurality of points of interest are determined from the point of interest location information.
In some embodiments, the order of the plurality of interest points may be an order in which the user selects the interest points, and the display device sequentially receives the positions of the plurality of interest points, and connects the plurality of interest points according to the received order, so as to form a region, which is used as the display region. In some embodiments, the order of the plurality of interest points may also be an order set by the user, and the picture sending device may also send order information set by the user to the display device in a process of sending the positions of the plurality of interest points to the display device, where the display device connects the plurality of interest points according to the order set by the user to form a display area.
The user can customize the display area, such as an irregular area, by transmitting a plurality of interest points, so that the user can determine the part to be displayed according to the requirement of the user, the flexibility of display is provided, and in addition, the data quantity transmitted is obviously smaller compared with the position information of the selected picture area because the positions of the plurality of interest points are only transmitted.
In other embodiments, for the case where the selected point of interest is one point of interest, the drawing start point and size of the display area may be determined for determining the display area, and after the drawing start point information and the size information of the display area are determined, the display area may be determined.
In some embodiments, to determine a drawing start point of a display area on a display screen of a display device, first, display center point position information of the display screen of the display device is calculated, then a scaling of the display area is determined, and finally, drawing start point information of the display area is determined according to the display center point position information, the interest point position information, and the scaling.
In one embodiment, the point of interest location information of the picture is (imagePointX, imagePointY), the width of the display screen of the display device is DEVICEWIDTH, and the height is DEVICEHEIGHT. The width and height of the display screen of the display device may be represented by pixels, for example 1280 x 760. Center point location information is displayed deviceCenterX = DEVICEWIDTH/2, devicecenter y= DEVICEHEIGHT/2.
The width of the picture is imgWidth and the height is IMGHEIGHT, wherein the width and the height of the picture can be represented by pixels, for example, 2000 x 2000. Calculating the aspect ratio of the picture (set to a first aspect ratio) imageAspectRatio = imgWidth/IMGHEIGHT and the aspect ratio of the display screen of the display device deviceAspectRatio = DEVICEWIDTH/DEVICEHEIGHT (set to a second aspect ratio), comparing the first aspect ratio with the second aspect ratio, in case the first aspect ratio is larger than the second aspect ratio, the scaling may be determined from the height information in the display screen size of the display device and the height information of the picture, for example, scaling= DEVICEHEIGHT/IMGHEIGHT.
In the case where the first aspect ratio is not greater than the second aspect ratio, the scaling may be determined from the width information in the display screen size of the display device and the width information of the picture, for example, scaling scale= DEVICEWIDTH/imgWidth.
In some embodiments, according to the display center point position information, the interest point position information, and the scaling, the drawing start point information for determining the display area on the display screen may be expressed as:
startX=deviceCenterX-(imagePointX*scale)
startY=deviceCenterY-(imagePointY*scale)
Wherein, (startX, startY) represents drawing start point information, (deviceCenterX, deviceCenterY) represents display center point position information, (imagePointX, imagePointY) represents point of interest position information, scale represents a scale.
In the prior art, for different aspect ratios of a display device, for example, in a mobile phone landscape screen and portrait screen scenario, a user selects a picture area to be displayed in one aspect ratio (for example, landscape screen state), selects another area in another aspect ratio (for example, portrait screen state), and then sends the position information of the two areas together with a picture one to a device side. The user needs to select the display areas separately at different aspect ratios, increasing the complexity of the operation.
In contrast, in the application, the display device automatically determines the scaling according to the aspect ratio of the picture and the aspect ratio of the display screen of the display device, so as to determine the drawing starting point information of the display area, dynamically adapt to different device screen sizes, and determine the display area according to whether the display device is a horizontal screen or a vertical screen currently. The user does not need to select the display areas separately at different aspect ratios, reducing the complexity of the operation.
In some embodiments, to determine the size information of the display area, the size information of the picture and the display screen size of the display device may be determined, and then the size information of the display area is determined according to the size information of the picture and the display screen size of the display device.
In one embodiment, the picture has a width imgWidth and a height IMGHEIGHT, and the display screen of the display device has a width DEVICEWIDTH and a height DEVICEHEIGHT. Calculating an aspect ratio (set to a first aspect ratio) imageAspectRatio = imgWidth/IMGHEIGHT of the picture and an aspect ratio deviceAspectRatio = DEVICEWIDTH/DEVICEHEIGHT (set to a second aspect ratio) of a display screen of the display device, comparing the first aspect ratio with the second aspect ratio, in which case the picture may be fully displayed in height and the size information of the display region may be (IMGHEIGHT/DEVICEHEIGHT × DEVICEWIDTH, IMGHEIGHT) and the height of the display region corresponds to the height of the picture, and in which case the first aspect ratio is not greater than the second aspect ratio, the picture may be fully displayed in width and the size information of the display region may be (imgWidth, imgWidth × DEVICEHEIGHT/DEVICEWIDTH) and the width of the display region corresponds to the width of the picture.
In the prior art, a user selects a scheme of a picture area to be displayed, and the display characteristics of different devices cannot be effectively adapted, especially under the condition of different screen sizes, resolutions and display proportions. For some devices with larger screens, the display of the picture may be blurred and not clear enough, thereby affecting the viewing experience of the user. Furthermore, there may be significant differences in the display effects of the different devices, which not only reduces the uniformity of the visual effect.
In contrast, the application can determine the size information of the display area according to the size information of the picture and the display screen size of the display device, and the display device determines the display content according to the display screen size of the display device, so that the display characteristics of different devices can be automatically adapted.
Step S203, displaying the picture corresponding to the point of interest location information in the display area.
In some embodiments, after receiving the picture and determining the display area, the display device intercepts the picture content covered by the display area and corresponding to the point of interest location information on the picture according to the display area, and then displays the intercepted picture content on a display screen of the display device.
According to another aspect of the present application, there is provided an apparatus for displaying picture content across devices.
