Abstract

The present invention provides a bicycle repair stand, comprising a support unit and a storage unit. The support unit comprises a base and a support rod connected to the base, and the support rod is suitable for supporting a bicycle. The storage unit comprises a shell, and the shell has a storage space, a first notch and a second notch. The first notch can detachably receive the base, and the second notch can detachably receive the support rod. Thereby, the storage unit can selectively receive the support unit to facilitate the access or placement of tools or parts required for maintenance.

Technical Field

The invention relates to a bicycle repair stand, and in particular to a bicycle repair stand which is convenient for taking tools required for repair.

Background Art

A typical bicycle repair stand, as shown in U.S. Patent No. 9,033,160, has a base, an upright support structure extending upward from the base to a top, and a spindle engaging post extending outward from the top of the upright support structure. The spindle engaging post is used to engage the spindle of a bicycle so that the bicycle can be supported on a surface in an upright position for repair work.

However, when the above-mentioned bicycle repair stand is in use, the tools used for repair or the disassembled bicycle parts are mostly scattered on the ground around the repair stand, which not only makes the working environment look quite messy and makes it quite inconvenient to get the tools, but also makes it more likely to cause accidental injuries due to accidentally stepping on the tools or parts.

Summary of the invention

The object of the present invention is to provide a bicycle repair stand which can facilitate access to tools required for repair.

The present invention provides a bicycle repair stand, comprising a support unit and a storage unit. The support unit comprises a base and a support rod connected to the base, the support rod being suitable for supporting a bicycle. The storage unit comprises a shell, the shell having a storage space, a first notch and a second notch. The first notch can detachably receive the base, and the second notch can detachably receive the support rod.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the housing defines a top side and a bottom side opposite to the top side along a height direction, and the housing forms an opening on the top side that communicates with the storage space. The housing has a bottom wall and a side wall, and the bottom wall and the side wall enclose the storage space. A first notch is formed on the bottom side and is located between the bottom wall and the side wall, and a second notch is formed on the side wall.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the first notch extends along the peripheral direction of the shell and corresponds to the base of the support unit. The first notch has a first receiving opening, the first receiving opening is open toward the bottom side of the shell, and the base can enter the first notch through the first receiving opening and be received by the first notch.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the first notch is further provided with at least one limit block, the at least one limit block is formed on the inner side of the side wall, and the at least one limit block is configured to abut the base when the first notch accommodates the base.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the second notch extends in the height direction and corresponds to the support rod of the support unit. The second notch has a second receiving opening, which is open in the radial direction of the second notch, and the support rod can enter the second notch through the second receiving opening and be received by the second notch.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the support unit further includes a support foot connected to the base, and the support rod is connected to the support foot along the height direction. The shell is further provided with a third notch, the third notch is provided and connected between the first notch and the second notch, and the third notch can detachably accommodate the support foot.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the storage unit further includes two cover plates, and the two cover plates are pivotally connected to the side wall at the top side of the shell to selectively open or close the opening.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the housing is provided with two connecting holes extending in the height direction on the side wall. The storage unit further includes two pivot members, which respectively pass through the two cover plates and are connected to the two connecting holes.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the housing has at least two opposite slots disposed on the inner side of the side wall adjacent to the storage space. The storage unit further includes a partition plate, the partition plate is provided with two clamping parts, the two clamping parts are respectively located on opposite sides of the partition plate and can be detachably clamped in the at least two slots.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the support rod is provided with a first hanging member and a second hanging member. The first hanging member and the second hanging member are located at different height positions along the height direction, so as to be suitable for hooking the rear seat fork and the rear chain fork of the bicycle.

Based on the above, the bicycle repair stand provided in the embodiment of the present invention can selectively accommodate the support unit through the storage unit to facilitate the access or placement of tools or parts required for repair.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Some embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The referenced element symbols in the following description will be regarded as the same or similar elements when the same element symbols appear in different drawings. These embodiments are only part of the present invention and do not disclose all possible implementation methods of the present invention. More specifically, these embodiments are only examples of bicycle repair racks within the scope of the present invention's patent application.

1 to 6 are respectively an appearance diagram, an exploded diagram and a cross-sectional diagram of an embodiment of a bicycle repair stand of the present invention. The bicycle repair stand of the present invention comprises a support unit 10 and a storage unit 20 .

The support unit 10 includes a base 11 and a support rod 12 connected to the base 11, wherein the support rod 12 is suitable for supporting a bicycle (not shown) so that the bicycle can be suspended for easy maintenance. Further, the support rod 12 can be provided with a first hanging member 121 and a second hanging member 122, and the first hanging member 121 and the second hanging member 122 are located at different height positions along a height direction, so as to be suitable for hooking the rear seat fork and the rear chain fork of the bicycle.

The storage unit 20 includes a housing 21. The housing 21 has a storage space 211, a first notch 212, and a second notch 213. The storage space 211 can store tools or bicycle parts, the first notch 212 can detachably store the base 11, and the second notch 213 can detachably store the support rod 12. Therefore, the storage unit 20 can detachably store the base 11 and the support rod 12 of the support unit 10 through the first notch 212 and the second notch 213, respectively, so that the user can easily access or place the tools or parts needed for maintenance when the bicycle is hung on the support rod 12.

In order to set the first notch 212 and the second notch 213, the housing 21 defines a top side 2101 and a bottom side 2102 opposite to the top side 2101 along the height direction. The housing 21 forms an opening 214 communicating with the receiving space 211 on the top side 2101. The housing 21 also has a bottom wall 215 and a side wall 216. The bottom wall 215 and the side wall 216 enclose the receiving space 211. The first notch 212 can be formed on the bottom side 2102 and located between the bottom wall 215 and the side wall 216, and the second notch 213 can be formed on the side wall 216.

Furthermore, the first notch 212 extends along the peripheral direction of the housing 21 and can correspond to the base 11 of the support unit 10. The first notch 212 has a first receiving opening 2121, and the first receiving opening 2121 is open toward the bottom side 2102 of the housing 21, so that the base 11 can enter the first notch 212 through the first receiving opening 2121 and be received by the first notch 212.

In addition, in order to prevent the base 11 from arbitrarily escaping from the first notch 212 through the first receiving opening 2121, the first notch 212 is further provided with at least one limit block 2122. The at least one limit block 2122 is formed on an inner side of the side wall 216, and the at least one limit block 2122 is configured to abut the base 11 when the first notch 212 receives the base 11, so as to prevent the base 11 from arbitrarily escaping from the first notch 212.

Furthermore, the second notch 213 extends in the height direction and corresponds to the support rod 12 of the support unit 10. The second notch 213 has a second receiving opening 2131, which is open in a radial direction of the second notch 213, so that the support rod 12 can enter the second notch 213 through the second receiving opening 2131 and be received by the second notch 213.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the support unit 10 further includes a support foot 13 connected to the base 11, and the support rod 12 is connected to the support foot 13 along the height direction to increase the stability of the base 11. The housing 21 is further provided with a third notch 217, and the third notch 217 is provided and connected between the first notch 212 and the second notch 213, and the third notch 217 can detachably receive the support foot 13. In other words, when the first notch 212 and the second notch 213 receive the base 11 and the support rod 12 of the support unit 10 respectively, the third notch 217 also receives the support foot 13.

In order to prevent the stored tools or bicycle parts from arbitrarily leaving the storage space 211, the storage unit 20 further includes two cover plates 22, which are symmetrically pivoted to the side wall 216 on the top side 2101 of the housing 21 to selectively open or close the opening 214. As shown in FIG. 6, the two cover plates 22 are pivoted relative to the housing 21 to open the opening 214.

Furthermore, the housing 21 is provided with two connecting holes 2161 extending in the height direction on the side wall 216. The storage unit 20 further includes two pivoting members 23, which respectively pass through the two cover plates 22 and are connected to the two connecting holes 2161 to pivotally connect the two cover plates 22 to the side wall 216.

In order to effectively utilize the storage space 211, the housing 21 is provided with at least two opposite slots 218 on an inner side of the side wall 216 adjacent to the storage space 211. The storage unit 20 further includes a partition plate 24, which is provided with two clamping portions 241, which are respectively located on opposite sides of the partition plate 24 and can be detachably clamped in the at least two slots 218, thereby arbitrarily dividing the storage space 211 for easy use.

In summary, the above-mentioned embodiment of the present invention can selectively accommodate the support unit 10 by means of the storage unit 20 so as to facilitate access to or placement of tools or parts required for maintenance.

Claims (10)

1. A bicycle repair stand, comprising:

a supporting unit including a base and a supporting rod connected to the base, the supporting rod being adapted to support a bicycle; and

The housing comprises a housing body, wherein the housing body is provided with a housing space, a first notch and a second notch, the first notch can detachably accommodate the base, and the second notch can detachably accommodate the supporting rod.

2. The bicycle repair stand of claim 1, wherein: the shell defines a top side and a bottom side opposite to the top side along the height direction, an opening communicated with the containing space is formed on the top side of the shell, the shell is provided with a bottom wall and a side wall, the containing space is formed by the bottom wall and the side wall in a surrounding mode, the first notch is formed on the bottom side and is located between the bottom wall and the side wall, and the second notch is formed on the side wall.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the first notch extends along a peripheral direction of the shell and corresponds to the base of the supporting unit, the first notch is provided with a first accommodating opening which is open towards the bottom side of the shell, and the base can enter the first notch through the first accommodating opening to be accommodated by the first notch.

A bicycle repair stand according to claim 3, wherein: the first notch is further provided with at least one limiting block, the at least one limiting block is formed on the inner side of the side wall, and the at least one limiting block is configured to abut against the base when the first notch accommodates the base.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the second notch extends along the height direction and corresponds to the supporting rod of the supporting unit, the second notch is provided with a second accommodating opening, the second accommodating opening is opened towards a radial direction of the second notch, and the supporting rod can enter the second notch through the second accommodating opening to be accommodated by the second notch.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the supporting unit further comprises a supporting leg connected to the base, the supporting rod is connected to the supporting leg along the height direction, the shell is further provided with a third notch, the third notch is connected between the first notch and the second notch, and the third notch can detachably accommodate the supporting leg.

7. The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the storage unit also comprises two cover plates which are pivoted on the side wall at the top side of the shell so as to selectively open or close the opening.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 7, wherein: the shell is provided with two connecting holes extending along the height direction on the side wall, and the storage unit further comprises two pivoting pieces which respectively penetrate through the two cover plates and are connected to the two connecting holes.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the shell is provided with at least two opposite clamping grooves on the inner side of the side wall, which is close to the accommodating space, the accommodating unit also comprises a division plate, the division plate is provided with two clamping parts, and the two clamping parts are respectively positioned on the opposite sides of the division plate and can be detachably clamped in the at least two clamping grooves.

The bicycle repair stand of claim 2, wherein: the support rod is provided with a first hanging piece and a second hanging piece, and the first hanging piece and the second hanging piece are positioned at different height positions along the height direction so as to be suitable for hooking a rear upper fork and a rear lower fork of a bicycle.
