Description

Assembly for packaging two cosmetic products
The present invention relates to the field of assemblies for packaging two products that need to be kept separate from each other, in particular during transport and storage, said products being mixed when the assembly is first used. The invention also relates to the dispensing of the resulting mixture of said products. These products are in particular cosmetic products.
In particular, within the meaning of the present invention, a "cosmetic product" is understood to be a product defined in the european society and the council 11, 30 days of the law (EC) number 1223/2009 for cosmetic products.
More particularly, the present invention relates to an assembly for packaging and dispensing a product, comprising two superposed receptacles which are rotatable relative to each other and which are capable of communicating with each other when first used.
Generally, the present invention relates to packaging of pasty or viscous products (e.g., hair products). The hair product may be a hair dye product, a hair care essence, a hair care cream or any other hair product for keratin fibres.
The present invention relates more particularly, but not exclusively, to a packaging assembly configured to keep separate the dye and the oxidizing agent of a hair dye product, the two components being intended to be mixed shortly before their use.
Reference may be made to WO201904726-A1 which describes a device configured to package two products separately and to dispense the resulting mixture when first used. The device includes a lower receiver defining a cavity for receiving a first product and an upper receiver defining a cavity for receiving a second product, the receivers being configured to rotate relative to each other without moving axially relative to each other. The device further includes a temporary closure element configured to close and threadably mate with the open end of the upper receiver prior to first use. The closure element includes an anti-rotation element to prevent rotation of the closure element during relative rotation of the two receptacles and to move axially toward the lower container until the closure element falls into the lower container.
However, the yield of the mixture is not satisfactory for such a device, because of the dead zone in which the mixture of products may get stuck.
Furthermore, in such devices, it is not possible to forcibly dispense the mixture of products.
Thus, there is a need for improved dispensing and yield of product mixtures from such devices.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks and to allow an improved dispensing and yield of the product mixture to be dispensed, while retaining a simple structure that is easy to manufacture and ergonomic.
It is a further object of the invention to ensure that there is a seal between the two receptacles prior to first use.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an assembly for packaging products in the form of a single-use, unitary assembly that does not require the separation of two receptacles to open the temporary closure member. In other words, the receptacles, each containing a component in an initial state, form an assembly and are not intended to be separated from each other at any stage of assembly operation to cause mixing of the two components.
The subject of the invention is an assembly for separately packaging two products and for dispensing a mixture of said products upon first use. The assembly comprises:
-a lower container defining a first internal volume containing a first product;
-an upper container defining a second internal volume containing a second product, said containers being rotatable relative to each other without axial movement relative to each other;
-a temporary closure member configured to close the open end of the lower container prior to first use and comprising a cylindrical skirt surrounding said open end and a closure element connected to said cylindrical skirt, said skirt being provided on its inner surface with an internal thread cooperating with an external thread provided on the lower container.
The assembly includes an assembly collar that is snap-fastened to the lower and upper containers. The collar rotates integrally with the upper container and is rotatable relative to the lower container, wherein the temporary closure member is in sealing contact with the assembled collar prior to first use.
The temporary closure member includes first anti-rotation means which cooperate with second anti-rotation means provided on the assembly collar to prevent relative rotation of the temporary closure member and the assembly collar, and the temporary closure member is free of means for axial retention with the container and collar such that when the lower container is rotated relative to the upper container, the temporary closure member moves axially until it is within the interior volume of the upper container.
In the assembled position prior to first use, the lower and upper containers are snap-fastened to the assembly collar. The lower container may be rotatable relative to the collar, while the upper container rotates integrally with the collar.
The assembly collar ensures such non-separable connection of the lower container relative to the upper container while allowing relative rotation of the upper container relative to the lower container.
The assembly collar also holds the temporary closure member in a position prior to first use in which the member sealingly separates the interior volume of the container.
Advantageously, the assembly collar comprises an inner skirt radially arranged between the open end of the lower container and the lower end of the upper container, said inner skirt comprising on its inner surface snap-fastening projections intended to be snap-fastened on annular ribs provided on the lower container.
For example, the inner skirt of the assembly collar also includes a sealing lip on its inner surface that protrudes toward the open end of the lower container.
Advantageously, the inner skirt of the assembly collar comprises a groove, preferably an annular groove, in its inner surface, which cooperates with a snap fastening bead (bead) carried by the temporary closure member in a pre-assembled intermediate position.
The snap fastening bead protrudes, for example, outwards.
In a variant, it may be provided that the outer surface of the inner skirt of the collar comprises a groove which cooperates with an inwardly projecting snap fastening bead carried by the temporary closure member.
According to one embodiment, the temporary closure member further comprises a middle cylindrical skirt at least partially radially surrounding the inner cylindrical skirt, and comprises a bead protruding outwards and cooperating with a groove in the collar.
The bead is preferably annular.
For example, the temporary closure member includes an outer skirt surrounding an intermediate skirt. The three cylindrical skirts of the temporary closure member are coaxial.
For example, the assembly collar comprises an outer skirt radially surrounding the inner skirt of the assembly collar and the lower end of the lower container, said outer skirt comprising on its inner surface at least one snap fastening protrusion protruding radially towards the inner skirt and cooperating with a snap fastening protrusion provided on the outer surface of the lower end of the upper container.
Advantageously, the outer skirt of the collar comprises at least one anti-rotation protrusion on its inner surface, which co-operates with at least one recess provided in the outer surface of the lower end of the upper container.
For example, the outer skirt of the collar includes four anti-rotation tabs, each of which mates with a recess provided in the upper container. As a variant, a different number of anti-rotation protrusions may be provided.
According to one embodiment, the first anti-rotation means is at least one recess formed in the outer skirt of the temporary closure member and the second anti-rotation means is formed by at least one longitudinal rib provided on the outer surface of the inner skirt of the assembly collar.
For example, the second anti-rotation means is formed by at least one set of longitudinal ribs provided on the outer surface of the inner skirt of the assembly collar.
As a variant, a different number of sets of longitudinal ribs may be provided, for example more than or equal to three sets. The rib sets are regularly spaced around the outer periphery of the inner skirt. Each set of ribs may also be provided with a plurality of ribs equal to one, two, three or more than three.
For example, the first anti-rotation means is formed by at least one U-shaped recess provided in the outer cylindrical skirt of the temporary closure member. The recess mates with a set of longitudinal ribs of the collar.
For example, two or three notches may be provided regularly spaced from each other around the entire periphery of the outer skirt of the temporary closure member. As a variant, a different number of recesses may be provided, for example a number greater than or equal to three.
Each recess cooperates with a set of longitudinal ribs provided on the inner skirt of the collar so that the temporary closure member does not rotate when the collar is rotated.
In other words, the cooperation of the recess with the longitudinal rib forms an anti-rotation means between the temporary closure member and the collar.
Other forms of anti-rotation means of the closure member relative to the collar may also be provided.
Advantageously, the assembly collar comprises a first angle limiting means cooperating with a second angle limiting means provided on the lower container in order to limit the angular rotation of said lower container with respect to said collar, in particular in an angular range of about 180 °.
For example, the lower container comprises a first angle limiting stop on its outer surface, which cooperates with at least one second angle limiting stop protruding from the lower surface of the body of the collar towards the lower container. The angle limiting stops form a first angle limiting means and a second angle limiting means, respectively.
Thus, the angular rotation of the lower container relative to the collar is limited to a range of angles, such as about 180 °. The angular range is defined by angular limiting stops provided on the collar and the lower container.
The range of rotation angles of the lower container relative to the collar needs to be sufficient to allow the threaded segments of the internal threads of the closure member to disengage. In other words, the angular range of rotation of the lower container relative to the collar is greater than or equal to the angular range of the thread segments of the internal thread of the closure member.
For example, the internal thread of the closure member comprises three thread segments, each extending over an angular range of 120 °.
This use advantage means that the assembly of collar, closure member and lower container is in the same angular position so that one of the thread segments of the internal thread of the closure member engages with the same thread segment of the lower container.
To this end, the closure member comprises an indexing member protruding from an upper surface of the closure member so that the closure member is angularly positioned on the neck of the lower container when assembled.
Generally, the closure member includes at least one indexing member configured to allow the closure member to be angularly positioned on the lower container.
For example, the inner skirt of the collar is disposed radially between the intermediate skirt and the outer skirt of the temporary closure member.
For example, the lower surface of the closure element includes an annular sealing lip having an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the open end of the lower container for insertion into said open end and for sealingly closing the lower container prior to first use of the assembly.
Advantageously, the outer diameter of the closure element is greater than the outer diameter of the open end of the neck of the lower container.
According to one embodiment, the upper surface of the closure element comprises an axial projection extending axially into the upper container. The axial projection makes it possible to avoid closing the open end of the lower container and/or the open upper end of the upper container once the temporary closure member is separated from the lower container and thus prevent the temporary closure member from obstructing the flow of the mixture of products.
For example and not at all, the upper surface of the closure element comprises four axial projections, in this case regularly spaced around the entire periphery of the closure element. As a variant, two or three axial projections may be provided.
According to one embodiment, the assembly comprises means mounted on the upper container for applying said product.
For example, the product applicator is in the form of a dispensing tube in fluid communication with the upper container.
The product applicator may include a skirt for mounting on the neck of the upper container by means of a screw-threaded coupling or snap-fastening.
The applicator may also include a frangible dispensing nozzle on the side opposite the mounting skirt that allows access to the interior volume. The dispensing nozzle is intended to be broken prior to first use to open the dispensing orifice.
As a variant, the applicator comprises a cap or cover screwed onto its upper end and designed to selectively close and open the dispensing orifice.
The body of the lower container is advantageously made of a rigid synthetic material (that is to say a material that is incompressible by the user) and the body of the upper container is advantageously made of an elastic synthetic material that is more flexible than the body of the lower container and compressible by the user, so as to expel the product contained in the internal receiving volume simply by pressing the body of the upper container.
The body of the upper container is more flexible than the body of the lower container.
The body of the upper container may be made of, for example, a thermoplastic elastomer.
According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a method for assembling an assembly as described above. The method comprises the following steps:
preassembling the temporary closure member and the assembly collar in an intermediate position in which the temporary closure member is snap-fastened in the assembly collar, in particular by means of a fit between the annular collar and the groove,
Screwing the temporary closure member onto the open end of the lower container,
-Axially moving the assembly collar together with the lower container until the assembly collar is snap-fastened to the lower container, in particular by engagement of snap-fastening projections of the collar under ribs of the lower container, said axial movement of the assembly collar reversing the snap-fastening of the temporary closure member and the assembly collar, and
-Axially moving the upper container towards the assembly collar until the upper container is snap-fastened to said collar, in particular by the cooperation of the corresponding snap-fastening protrusions.
Advantageously, in the unsecured position of the temporary closure member and the assembly collar, the projection (and in particular the annular bead) for snap-fastening the temporary closure member to the assembly collar remains in sealing contact with the collar (and in particular with the lower surface of the lower skirt of the collar).
At the end of the assembly method, the assembly is in an assembly use position in which the lower container, the upper container and the assembly collar are inseparably assembled.
The snap fastening of the lower container to the collar is thus achieved by a purely axial movement, which is different from the screwing movement of the lower container into the temporary closure member, in order to limit the assembly forces.
The respective axial movements of the assembly collar and the upper container may be performed sequentially or simultaneously.
According to another aspect, the invention relates to a method of using an assembly as described above, wherein rotation of the lower container is actuated, which moves the temporary closure member axially towards the upper container until the temporary closure member is fully unscrewed relative to the neck of the lower container, and then the internal volume of the upper container is in fluid communication with the internal volume of the lower container.
The temporary closure member is located in the interior volume of the upper container and may act as a stirrer to assist in the mixing of the product.
The user may then detach the frangible dispensing nozzle or unscrew the cap of the applicator to use the assembly and apply the resulting product mixture through the dispensing orifice.
The invention will be better understood by studying a detailed description of an embodiment, given by way of a purely non-limiting example, and illustrated by means of the accompanying drawings, in which:

[ FIG. 5]
And
FIG. 6 illustrates an assembly step of the assembly of FIG. 1; and
Fig. 7 is a detailed view of the assembly of fig. 1 in a position where two containers are in communication.
In the remainder of this description, reference will be made to a orthonormal base X, Y, Z, where Z corresponds to an elevation axis representing a vertical direction, where it can be seen that:
A longitudinal axis X which is horizontal and extends from left to right in top view;
A transverse axis Y which is horizontal, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X and extends from front to back in top view; and
A vertical axis Z orthogonal to the longitudinal axis X and to the transverse axis Y and extending from top to bottom in top view.
The expressions "upper" and "lower" refer to the upper and lower parts of the drawings in the assembled position of the assembly.
Fig. 1-7 illustrate an example of an assembly 10 for separately packaging two products and for dispensing a mixture of the products upon first use.
The assembly 10 may be used to package two cosmetic products, such as two liquid or semi-liquid cosmetic products, or a liquid product and a powder.
For example, the product may be a hair product, such as a hair care product, for example a hair dye product, a hair cream or any product for keratin fibres.
The assembly 10 is particularly intended for use with products requiring a single application. As a variant, the assembly 10 may be intended for multiple applications.
By way of non-limiting example, the first product is a dye and the product is an oxidizing agent that, when mixed to form a mixture, forms a dyed product for keratin fibers.
As illustrated in fig. 1, the assembly 10 extends axially along an axis Z-Z', which is assumed to be vertical in the figure.
The assembly 10 includes: a lower reservoir or container 12 defining an internal volume 12a for receiving a first product a, visible in fig. 2; an upper reservoir or container 14 defining an interior volume 14a for receiving a second product B; and means 16 for applying said product and mounted on the upper container 14.
The assembly 10 further comprises: an assembly collar 20 mounted between the lower container 12 and the upper container 14; and a temporary closure 30 mounted on the lower container 12 and separating the lower container 12 from the upper container 14 prior to first use of the assembly 10.
In the assembled position prior to first use, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the lower container 12, the upper container 14 and the assembly collar 20 are configured to be rotatable relative to each other about a vertical axis Z without moving axially along said axis.
The body of the lower container 12 is provided with: a closed lower end 12b forming a bottom; and an open upper end 12c at an end opposite the lower end 12b, thereby forming a neck provided with an opening 12d allowing access to the internal volume 12a for receiving the first product.
By way of non-limiting example, the outer diameter of the neck 12c may be smaller than the outer diameter of the body of the lower container 12.
As shown, the neck 12c includes external threads 13a on its outer surface 13. The neck 12c is connected to the body of the lower container 12 by an external shoulder 15 comprising ribs 15a, in this case annular ribs, protruding radially outwards, on its external surface.
A "shoulder" is understood to be any surface substantially perpendicular to the elevation axis of the cylindrical component resulting from an abrupt change in diameter.
The body of the lower container 12 may be made of, for example, a rigid synthetic material (that is, a material that is incompressible by the user).
The body of the upper container 14 is provided with an open lower end 14b and an open upper end 14c, which is located at the end opposite to the lower end 14b, forming a neck provided with an opening 14d allowing access to the internal volume 14a for receiving the second product.
By way of non-limiting example, the outer diameter of neck 14c may be smaller than the outer diameter of the body of upper container 14.
As shown, the neck 14c includes external threads 14e on its outer surface that mate with tapping threads 16b provided on the product applicator 16.
As a variation, snap-fit ribs may be provided to snap-fit the product applicator 16 onto the upper container 14.
The body of the upper container 14 may for example be made of a flexible synthetic material, so as to be able to expel the product contained in the internal receiving volume 14a simply by pressing it. The body of the upper container 14 is more flexible than the body of the lower container 12. The body of the upper container 14 may be made of, for example, a thermoplastic elastomer.
The product applicator 16 is in the form of a dispensing tube in fluid communication with the upper container 14. The product applicator 16 includes a skirt 16a for mounting on the neck 14c of the upper container 14, the skirt including a tapped thread 16b that mates with the external thread 14e of the upper container 14. The applicator 16 also includes, on the side opposite the mounting skirt 16 a: a dispensing orifice 16c that allows access to the interior volume 14a; and a cap 17 screwed onto the upper end of the applicator 16 and designed to selectively close and open the dispensing orifice 16c. Cap 17 is intended to be unscrewed from applicator 16 to allow the mixture of products to be dispensed through dispensing orifice 16c.
As a variant, it may be provided that the dispensing orifice 16c is closed by a frangible dispensing nozzle which is intended to be broken before the first use, to allow the mixture of products to be dispensed through said dispensing orifice 16 c.
As shown, the assembly collar 20 includes two coaxial cylindrical skirts 22, 24.
The inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 is disposed radially between the neck 12c of the lower container 12 and the lower end 14b of the upper container 14.
The inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 comprises on its inner surface snap-fastening projections 22a intended to be snap-fastened on annular ribs 15a provided on the lower container 12.
The inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 also includes a sealing lip 22b on its inner surface that projects toward the neck 12c of the lower container 12.
The inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 also includes a plurality of sets of longitudinal ribs 22c on its outer surface projecting radially toward the outer skirt 24, one pair of which can be seen in fig. 2.
As shown in the figures, the inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 comprises on its outer surface three sets of two longitudinal ribs 22c arranged at 120 °. As a variant, a different number of sets of longitudinal ribs may be provided. Each set of ribs may also be provided with a different number of ribs, for example one rib or a number greater than or equal to three.
The inner skirt 22 comprises a groove 22d, in this case an annular groove, on its inner surface, which cooperates with a snap fastening bead 36a carried by the temporary closure member 30.
The outer skirt 24 radially surrounds the inner skirt 22 and the lower end 14b of the lower container 14.
The outer skirt 24 includes on its inner surface snap-fastening projections 24a projecting radially towards the inner skirt 22 and cooperating with snap-fastening projections 14f provided on the outer surface of the lower end 14b of the upper container 14.
In this case, the snap fastening projection 24a includes four protruding sections regularly spaced from each other. As a variant, a different number of protruding segments may be provided.
The outer skirt 24 radially surrounds the inner skirt 22 and includes anti-rotation protrusions 24b on its inner surface that mate with notches 14g provided in the outer surface of the lower end 14b of the upper container 14.
In this case, the outer skirt 24 includes four anti-rotation protrusions 24b, each of which cooperates with a recess 14g provided in the upper container 14. As a modification, a different number of the rotation preventing protrusions 24b may be provided.
The anti-rotation protrusions 24b are regularly spaced between the two snap fastening protrusion sections 24 a.
In the assembled position prior to first use, as can be seen in fig. 3, the lower container 12 and the upper container 14 are snap-fastened to the assembly collar 20. The lower container 12 may be rotatable relative to the collar 20 while the upper container 14 rotates integrally with the collar 20.
As shown in fig. 3, the open end 12c of the lower container 12 is closed by a temporary closure member 30 during shipping and prior to first use.
As illustrated, the temporary closure member 30 is a cap that can be sealingly screwed onto the external thread 13a of the neck of the lower container 12.
The temporary closure member 30 comprises an inner cylindrical skirt 32 and a closure element 34 connected to said skirt 32. An inner cylindrical skirt 32 extends radially between the neck 12c of the lower container 12 and the lower end 14b of the upper container 14.
The inner cylindrical skirt 32 includes internal threads 32a on its cylindrical inner surface that mate with the external threads 13a of the neck of the lower container 12.
The closure element 34 has an outer diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the open end 12b of the neck of the lower container 12.
The lower surface of the closure element 34 includes an annular sealing lip 34a having an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the open end 12b of the neck of the lower container 12 for insertion into said open end and for sealingly closing the lower container 12 prior to first use of the assembly.
The upper surface of the closure element 34 includes an axial projection 34b that extends axially into the upper container 14. The axial projection 34b makes it possible to avoid closing the open end of the lower container 12 and/or the open upper end of the upper container 14 once the temporary closure member 30 is separated from the lower container 12, and thus prevent the temporary closure member 30 from obstructing the flow of the mixture of products.
As shown in the figures, and not at all limiting, the upper surface of the closure element 34 comprises four axial projections 34b, in this case regularly spaced around the entire periphery of the closure element 34. As a variant, a different number of axial projections 34b may be provided, for example two or three axial projections 34b.
The temporary closure member 30 also includes a central cylindrical skirt 36 which partially radially surrounds the inner cylindrical skirt 32 and includes an outer bead 36a which projects outwardly and mates with the groove 22d in the collar 20 in the preassembled position as can be seen in fig. 5. In this case, the bead 36a is annular.
The temporary closure member 30 also includes an outer cylindrical skirt 38 surrounding the intermediate cylindrical skirt 36.
The outer cylindrical skirt 38 also includes a plurality of U-shaped notches 38a, one of which can be seen in FIG. 2. The notches 38a open on both sides of the inner and outer surfaces of the outer skirt 38.
As shown, the outer cylindrical skirt 38 of the temporary closure member 30 includes three notches 38a that are regularly spaced from one another around the entire periphery of the skirt 38. As a variant, a different number of notches 38a may be provided, for example one notch, two notches or a number greater than or equal to three.
Each recess 38a cooperates with a set of longitudinal ribs 22c provided on the inner skirt 22 of the collar 20 so that the temporary closure member 30 does not rotate when the lower container 12 rotates relative to the assembly formed by the upper container 14 and collar 20, which rotate integrally due to the cooperation of the anti-rotation protrusions 24b and recesses 14 g.
In other words, the cooperation of the recess 38a with the longitudinal rib 22c forms an anti-rotation means between the temporary closure member 30 and the collar 20.
Other forms of anti-rotation means of the closure member 30 relative to the collar 20 may also be provided.
Generally, the cylindrical skirt 32 and the lower container 12 include anti-rotation means for preventing rotation of the temporary closure member 30 relative to the assembly collar 20.
The inner skirt 22 of the assembly collar 20 is radially disposed between the outer cylindrical skirt 38 of the temporary closure member 30 and the intermediate cylindrical skirt 36 of said member 30.
As shown, the lower container 12 includes a first angle limiting stop 12e on its outer surface that mates with a second angle limiting stop 26 protruding from the lower surface of the body 24 of the collar 20 toward the lower container 12. The angle limiting stops form a first angle limiting means and a second angle limiting means, respectively.
Thus, the angular rotation of the lower container relative to the collar is limited to a range of angles, such as about 180 °. The angular range is defined by angular limiting stops 12e, 26 provided on collar 20 and lower container 12.
The range of rotation angles of the lower container 12 relative to the collar 20 needs to be sufficient to allow disengagement of the threaded segments of the internal threads 32a of the closure member 30. In other words, the angular range of rotation of the lower container 12 relative to the collar 20 is greater than or equal to the angular range of the thread segments of the internal thread 32a of the closure member 30.
In the example shown and in a totally non-limiting way, the internal thread 32a of the closure member 30 comprises three thread segments, each extending over an angular range of 120 °.
This use advantage means that the assembly of collar 20, closure member 30 and lower container 12 is in the same angular position so that one of the thread segments of internal thread 32a of closure member 30 engages the same thread segment of lower container 12.
To this end, the closure member 30 includes an indexing member 37 protruding from the upper surface of the closure member 30 for angular positioning on the neck of the lower container 12 when assembled.
Referring to fig. 5 and 6, an example of assembly of the assembly 1 for packaging and dispensing a product is performed using the following method.
The temporary closure member 30 and the assembly collar 20 are pre-assembled in an intermediate position, which can be seen in fig. 5, in which the annular bead 36a of the temporary closure member 30 is snap-fastened in the groove 22d in the assembly collar 20.
The sub-assembly formed by the temporary closure member 30 and the assembly collar 20 is positioned angularly with respect to the lower container 12 by means of the indexing member 37 and then screwed onto the lower container 12 by means of the corresponding threads 13a, 32 a.
Collar 20 is then moved axially toward lower container 12 until snap-fit bead 22a of collar 20 snap-fits under rib 15a of lower container 15, as can be seen in fig. 6.
During this step, collar 20 moves axially, while temporary closure member 30 does not, and thus annular bead 36a of temporary closure member 30 is released from groove 22d of assembly collar 20. In this position, which can be seen in fig. 6, the annular bead 36a advantageously remains in sealing contact with the inner surface of the inner skirt 22 of the collar 20.
Simultaneously with this step or subsequently, via a relative axial movement of the container 14 towards the collar 20, the upper container 14 is snap-fastened to the collar 20 until the snap-fastening protrusions 14f, 24a are snap-fastened, as can be seen in fig. 3 and 4. In this assembled use position, the lower container 12, the upper container 14, and the assembly collar 20 are inseparably assembled.
The assembly collar ensures such non-separable connection of the lower container 12 relative to the upper container 14 while allowing relative rotation of the lower container 12 relative to the upper container 14.
Assembling collar 20 thus makes it possible to obtain a ready-to-use assembly for packaging products without the need to separate the two containers to disassemble the temporary closure member. In other words, the containers, each containing a product in an initial state, form an assembly and are not intended to be separated from each other at any stage of assembly operation to cause mixing of the two products.
The assembly collar 20 also holds the temporary closure member 30 in a position prior to first use in which it sealingly separates or separates the internal cavities 12a, 14a of the containers 12, 14.
Thus, the snap fastening of the lower container 12 to the collar 20 is achieved by a purely axial movement, unlike a screwing movement of the lower container 12 into the temporary closure member 30, in order to limit the assembly forces.
Once the assembly 10 is assembled, the user actuates rotation of the lower container 12, causing axial movement of the temporary closure member 30 toward the upper container 14 until the temporary closure member has been fully unscrewed from the neck of the lower container 12, as can be seen in fig. 7. Thus, the interior volume 14a of the upper vessel 14 is in fluid communication with the interior volume 12a of the lower vessel 12.
This is because the temporary closure member 30 does not have means for axially retaining with the containers 12, 14 and collar 20, and therefore, when the lower container 12 is rotated relative to the upper container 14, the temporary closure member 30 moves axially until it is located in the interior volume 14a of the upper container 14.
The temporary closure member 30 is thus located in the interior volume 14a of the upper container 14 and may act as a stirrer to assist in the mixing of the product.
The user can then unscrew cap 17 to use assembly 10 and apply the resulting mixture of products a and B through dispensing orifice 16 c.
By means of the assembly according to the invention, the dispensing and yield of the product mixture to be dispensed are significantly improved, while maintaining a simple structure that is easy to manufacture and ergonomic.
Furthermore, it may be ensured that there is a seal between the two receptacles prior to first use.
