Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of storage control, and particularly discloses an automatic switching method and system based on a mobile hard disk and a network storage dual mode.
Background
The existing data localization and storage scene is mainly realized by two modes of external mobile hard disks (such as U disk and mobile hard disk) and network storage. The mobile hard disk mainly adopts USB or IEEE1394 interface, can be plugged in or pulled out at any time, is small and portable, and performs data transmission with the system at a higher speed. The network storage (NAS, network Attached Storage: network attached storage) is simply a device connected to a network and having a data storage function, and is also called "network storage".
Two solutions for current data localization: external mobile hard disk and network storage can all solve the requirement that the user holds data in the medium of oneself grasp, but all have certain not enough:
1. the mobile hard disk has the advantages that: the capacity is large; the compatibility is good, and plug and play is realized; the speed is high; the volume and the mass are small; is safe and reliable. The disadvantages of the mobile hard disk are: cannot be accessed through a network; data cannot be shared; must be carried around.
2. The network storage has the advantages that: network access and remote connection; easy to deploy; and (5) data sharing. The disadvantages of network storage are: offline (off-line) cannot be used; limiting the transmission speed by the network bandwidth; the cost is high.
In summary, the existing data storage method is difficult to satisfy the data read-write requirements of the user in the two scenarios of direct connection of the USB and remote connection of the network. Therefore, one technical problem that needs to be solved urgently at present is: how to combine the mobile hard disk mode and the network storage mode and automatically switch, and simultaneously meet the read-write requirement of the USB direct connection and the network remote connection on the data in the same storage device.
The patent with application number 201110424622.3 similar to the above is solved by providing a program for judging through the network connection state and determining whether the data is stored on the local hard disk or the network hard disk according to the judgment, namely, if the network is disconnected, the data is stored on the local hard disk, if the network is connected, the data is stored in the network storage, and more application scenes are the application of the local database and the cloud database. The patent cannot solve the problem that an external data storage state can give consideration to double working scenes and switching of mobile hard disk and network storage, and the local storage of the patent refers to a local hard disk of an operation end (such as a computer or a server) and cannot meet the 'network disconnection or online' demand of 'instant use' of data.
Therefore, the above-mentioned drawbacks of the existing data localization and preservation method are a technical problem that is needed at present.

The automatic switching method and system based on the mobile hard disk and the network storage dual mode provided by the invention have the following advantages:
1. The mobile hard disk is used as an external hard disk memory of a computer, and the data read-write between the mobile hard disk and the computer must be realized through the physical data line connection of a USB or IEEE1394 interface, which means that if a user needs to use the data in the mobile hard disk anytime and anywhere, the user must carry the mobile hard disk and a matched data line, and the limited use condition exists. By means of automatic switching, when the hardware storage device is used for networking, the interactive operation of the mobile hard disk with the data stored in the device can be realized through the network even if a user does not carry the device, and the problems that the existing mobile hard disk is required to be connected with a computer for operation, the use scene is single and the networking access requirement cannot be met are solved.
2. The existing network storage products are all devices which are connected to a network and have a data storage function, so that the devices are also called as network storage or NAS, namely, the interaction between a user and the network storage products is realized through the network, and once the network storage products are disconnected, the data stored in the network storage products cannot be read by the user. If the user needs to read the data in the network storage product which is disconnected from the network under the condition, the only method is to disassemble the hard disk in the network storage into the hard disk box and then access the hard disk box into the computer for accessing, but the phenomenon that the computer cannot identify the hard disk format and the data cannot be acquired still occurs under the condition. The invention adopts the hardware storage equipment, solves the problem that the network disconnection condition can not be used, and even if the network is disconnected, a user can normally access the data stored in the equipment by only inserting the equipment into a computer through USB, thereby greatly facilitating the use of the user.
3. Through automatic switching of the double modes, a new scheme for data storage, management and use is provided for users, and different application scenes in the big data age can be met.
4. The automatic identification and intelligent work switching modes of the double modes also provide new product forms and ideas for the external storage market.
5. In order to avoid misoperation of a user, when the hardware storage device enters a working mode of the mobile hard disk, key catalogs in an operating system of the hardware storage device are automatically hidden, and system safety and reliability are improved.

2. Identifying the working states of a mobile hard disk and network storage: the identification is carried out from the kernel layer and the application layer of the linux operating system using the method, so that the accurate judgment of the current connection state of the hardware storage device using the method is ensured.
3. The kernel layer checks whether the current device is connected to other devices (such as a computer, a USB flash disk, etc.) through a USB driver.
4. The application layer judges the device connected with the current USB after receiving the netlink notification from the kernel layer, and determines whether the device is a connected computer or a USB flash disk currently through communication with the external device.
5. Double operation mode:
in the working mode of the mobile hard disk, the linux is simulated into a USB mobile hard disk through the embodiment, so that windows or macOS can operate a file system in the hardware storage device using the embodiment according to the mode of the USB.
