Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of industrial automation communication, in particular to a data forwarding system and method for multi-serial device.
Background
At present, a plurality of industrial automation applications for realizing industrial automation data acquisition and control by utilizing industrial buses such as RS485/422/232, CAN and the like still exist in the industrial field; based on the requirements of industrial 4.0 data acquisition and control, the industrial site completes the butt joint of an industrial bus and an Ethernet through a serial server/CAN server; the serial port equipment of the industrial site generally transmits communication data to a serial port server through a serial port, and the serial port server converts the received communication data into an IP data packet and transmits the IP data packet to a remote server; the remote server restores the received IP data packet into serial port data and transmits the serial port data to other network elements, so that the serial port line is lengthened, and further transmission can be realized.
In practical requirements, one hopes that data from different serial ports can be forwarded to a plurality of different other serial ports, and the current serial port data forwarding method either forwards the data through virtual serial port software located on a third party device or sets a forwarding service module on a serial port server, and both methods have a common disadvantage that once forwarding is set, all data from a certain serial port are forwarded to another serial port and cannot be simultaneously distributed to other serial ports.
