Abstract
The invention belongs to the technical field of silica gel leather, and particularly discloses breathable silica gel leather for an automobile cushion and a preparation method thereof, wherein the breathable silica gel leather comprises base cloth and a breathable surface layer coated on the surface of the base cloth, and the breathable surface layer comprises, by mass, 60-80% of organic silica gel, 15-20% of silk fibroin aqueous solution, 5-10% of polyurethane emulsion, 1-5% of hardener and 1-5% of penetrating agent. The silk fibroin aqueous solution and the polyurethane emulsion are used simultaneously, so that the toughness and the wear resistance of the silica gel leather can be ensured while the silica gel leather is improved to have better air permeability in a mutual cooperation manner.

In addition, as can be seen from comparative example 1, the use of the aqueous solution of silk fibroin increases the air permeability of the silica gel leather, and at the same time, the elongation at break and the tensile strength of the silica gel leather are reduced, while the toughness of the silica gel leather is reduced, and when only the polyurethane emulsion is used in comparative example 2, the elongation at break and the tensile strength of the silica gel leather are higher than those of comparative example 1, and the toughness of the silica gel leather is better than that of comparative example 1, so that the simultaneous use of the aqueous solution of silk fibroin and the polyurethane emulsion is illustrated, and the two can cooperate with each other, so that the toughness of the silica gel leather is improved.
