Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a system for user grouping monitoring based on a signaling surface, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the PDU conversation resource application function establishes a flow channel which guarantees the bit rate; PDU conversation resource application function operation strategy authentication subscription service applies for conversation monitoring subscription to strategy control function and sends registration request information to strategy control function; configuring a characteristic field representing the unique identity of the user in the registration request information, and associating the characteristic field with the service and the event; the strategy control function associates a plurality of users with the same characteristic field value according to the received registration request information to form a subscription event user group; according to the method, when the users need to be monitored in a grouping mode, the strategy control function and the PDU session resource application function in the core network do not need to self-define and construct user groups, the operation times of maintenance personnel can be effectively reduced, the resource storage consumption is effectively reduced, the signaling processing speed is accelerated, and the method is more suitable for high-capacity and high-concurrency scenes.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication network monitoring, in particular to a method and a system for user grouping monitoring based on a signaling plane.
Background
In the fifth generation (5rd generation, 5g) network architecture, a user initiates to create a traffic channel with a guaranteed bit rate through an AF (PDU session resource application function), and for these users, some network managers want to count the throughput of the user in a packet manner, so as to achieve operations such as limiting the speed of a user group. In contrast, as shown in fig. 6, in the conventional method, a target user is generally customized from a pcf (policy control function) to construct a user group, and then, a usage quota is allocated by a subscription service, and the pcf calculates the usage of the user group to achieve actions such as controlling a rate. However, with this approach, the resource consumption and data storage pressure of the pcf is increased by the need to associate each user with a service. In addition, if the AF wants to perform service event grouping management on users, the AF also needs to customize and construct user groups, and associate each user with an event, so that the resource consumption and data storage pressure of the AF are increased.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a method and a system for carrying out user grouping monitoring based on a signaling plane, which can reduce the resource consumption and the data storage pressure of a policy control function and a PDU (protocol data unit) conversation resource application function in a communication system and can ensure that both the policy control function and the PDU conversation resource application function can obtain the information of corresponding user groups.

Preferably, when the session management function reports the usage of the user network signal, the policy control function makes a public usage statistic for the users having the same value in the characteristic field, and initiates a policy control update notification service to the session management function through the policy control function, so as to implement a traffic speed limit or offline operation for the subscription event user group.

Detailed Description
In order to explain technical contents, structural features, and objects and effects of the present invention in detail, the following detailed description is given with reference to the accompanying drawings in conjunction with the embodiments.
The embodiment discloses a method for monitoring user packets based on a signaling plane, which is used for a core network in a wireless communication system, wherein the wireless communication system can be a 5G system or other communication systems compatible with the 5G system. Taking the 5G system as an example, the network elements and service modules of the 5GC (core network) in this embodiment are as follows:
1. a Policy Control Function (PCF), which is a standard 5GC network element and provides a Policy-based decision mechanism and a FLOW-based charging Function;
2. session Management Function (SMF), which is responsible for tunnel maintenance, IP address allocation and Management, UPF selection, policy enforcement, control in QoS, charging data acquisition, roaming, etc.;
3. access and Mobility Management Function (Access and Mobility Management Function), abbreviated as AMF, performs registration, connection, reachability, and Mobility Management; providing a session management message transmission channel for UE and SMF, providing authentication and authorization functions for a user when accessing, and accessing a terminal and a wireless core network control plane;

s4: and the PCF associates a plurality of users with the same characteristic field value according to the received registration request information to form a subscription event user group.
Specifically, based on the above method, the flow of performing user grouping monitoring by 5GC is as follows:

s10: the AF establishes a request message structure AppSessionContextReqData to Create a new request, and requests the PCF to Create a flow channel with a guaranteed bit rate through Npcf _ PolicyAuthorization _ Create;
s11: after receiving the AF creating request, the PCF constructs a corresponding rule according to AppSessionContexteReqData and packages the rule into SmPolicyDeprecision, and sends the SmPolicyDeprecision to the SMF through Npcf _ SMPolicyControl _ UpdateNotify;
s12: when the SMF receives SmPolicyDecision from the PCF, the SMF may take appropriate measures to reconfigure the user plane functions of the PDU session.
Secondly, the AF applies to the PCF for a corresponding session monitoring subscription by operating Npcf _ PolicyAuthorization _ Subscribe, and sends EventsSubscReqData to the PCF, thereby realizing initiating subscription to a certain event. In the communication protocol of 5GC, the data definition type of eventsubscreqdata is shown in table 1 below, where "eventGroupId" is a characteristic field.

Then, based on the configuration of the characteristic field eventGroupID, when the users need to be grouped and monitored, the PCF does not need to define the user group and then associate the user group with the service, the EVtGroupID is directly associated with the service, and the AF associates the eventGroupID with the event.
Finally, PCF notifies corresponding subscription event to AF monitoring, that is, PCF initiates Npcf _ PolicyAuthorization _ Notify action after receiving the above-mentioned AF initiated event subscription, sends EventsNotification data to AF, and notifies monitoring message of AF corresponding event, where in the communication protocol of 5GC, the data definition type of EventsNotification is as shown in table 2 below.

More specifically, as shown in fig. 3, when the SMF reports the usage of the user network signal, the PCF performs public usage statistics on users having the same value of the characteristic field, and initiates a policy control update notification service to the SMF through the PCF to implement the traffic speed limit or offline operation of the subscription event user group, thereby implementing traffic monitoring on the target user group.
In addition, PCF initiates policy control update notification service to SMF, and also initiates policy authentication notification service to AF. When receiving the event notification data eventsNotification reported by the PCF, the AF knows the reporting condition of the corresponding packet event through eventsNotification, and counts the public usage of the current packet user according to the usgrep data (inherent content in the 5GC communication protocol) in the eventsNotification, and determines whether to update or terminate the traffic channel for the users in the user group.
Alternatively, the data type of the characteristic field is a character string, as in tables 1 and 2.
According to the method, because the characteristic field representing the unique identity of the user is configured in the registration request information and is associated with the service and the event, when the user group is required to be monitored, the PCF and the AF in the core network do not need to self-define to construct a user group, and only the corresponding characteristic field is carried when the AF initiates the flow channel construction each time, so that the operation times of maintenance personnel can be effectively reduced; in addition, the resource storage consumption of PCF and AF can be effectively reduced, the storage of data volume in the server is greatly reduced, the logic judgment process is simplified, the signaling processing speed is accelerated, and the method is more suitable for high-capacity and high-concurrency scenes.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, a system for performing user group monitoring based on a signaling plane is further disclosed, which includes:
a flow channel establishing module, which is used for establishing a flow channel for connecting the terminal and the core network with guaranteed bit rate based on PDU conversation resource application function according to PDU conversation reestablishment flow information initiated by the terminal;
the session subscription module is used for applying a session monitoring subscription to a policy control function based on the PDU session resource application function operation policy authentication subscription service and sending registration request information to the policy control function;
the user identity marking module is used for configuring a characteristic field representing the unique identity of the user in the registration request information and associating the characteristic field with the service and the event;

Further, the system also comprises a flow statistic module and a flow control module. And the flow counting module is used for carrying out public usage counting on the users with the same value of the characteristic field based on the strategy control function when the session management function reports the usage of the user network signals.
The flow control module is used for initiating a policy control update notification service to the session management function through the policy control function so as to realize the flow rate limit or offline operation of the subscription event user group.
Furthermore, the flow control module initiates a policy control update notification service to the session management function through the policy control function, and also initiates a policy authentication notification service to the PDU session resource application function through the policy control function.

The processor may adopt a general Central Processing Unit (CPU), a microprocessor, an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), or one or more Integrated circuits, and is configured to execute related programs, so as to implement functions required to be executed by modules in the system for performing user group monitoring based on a signaling plane according to the embodiment of the present Application, or to implement the method for performing user group monitoring based on a signaling plane according to the embodiment of the present Application.
