When the split type elevator is used, a constructor winds an insulating rope from a winch in the rope winding disc 23 and passes through a rope guide ring on the rope winding disc 23, and then passes through a pulley 29 to be finally fixed to an iron tower or angle steel, so that the elevator is connected with the insulating rope, the elevator can ascend or descend along the insulating rope and can be controlled by a manual button or a remote controller, when the constructor rotates the control knob 11 to a manual mode, the constructor firstly adjusts the control knob to a proper speed through the constant speed button 13 and then presses the ascending button 14, the device can perform ascending movement along the insulating rope, otherwise, the descending button 15 is pressed, the device can perform descending movement along the insulating rope, and if an emergency situation occurs, the emergency button 10 can be pressed down; when a constructor rotates the control knob 11 to a remote control mode, the constructor inserts the remote control connector 24 and the connecting socket 25, and then the constructor can control the ascending or descending movement of the device through the remote controller only by holding the remote controller connected with the remote control connector 24; when the lifting mechanism is used independently, constructors enable the photoelectric switch 3 to be in a normally open state through the switch button 9, when the device is in ascending motion, the photoelectric switch 3 senses that the top of the device is collided with an object, the device can not conduct ascending motion, only can conduct descending motion, and collision is avoided.
